As well he darn well SHOULD appear. They titled the film after him! But still, he's a reluctant public speaker and that took tremendous courage given the current climate and all the wackjobs out there. Good for him!

I didn't catch every word, but how cool is this! A speech that seems to suit both the man and the character. May at least partially explain why he kept his short haircut. I'm feeling a real sense of excitement about this character at this point. I really like how the look of Grindewald has evolved from the first movie. He's more steamlined, mysterious, dangerous looking now...

I think this is the first time Johnny has done a scripted performance on stage before an audience.
Correct me if I am wrong. The only previous stage appearances I can think of were were as Jack Sparrow and improvised (at least in part.)
