Perhaps we should focus more on the "News" and not quite so much on the "Views" on the thread. There has been a tendency to veer into tabloid territory on occasion. (And sometimes more than just "on occasion," too)

We still have months and months to go before all this is hopefully over. I'm just asking to please keep the National Enquirer-style speculations down to a minimum.

Theres new stuff coming out everyday, I hope Johnny has messages or audios to back up the fact Amber cut his finger off and it wasn’t self mutilation as she and the press are saying. There is also a few people saying Amber leaked photos of herself with pill bottles, but the photo or photos have been removed. Can this be done? She keeps saying her nude pictures are out there even though she said she has asked for them to be removed. Has anyone seen the pill evidence photo? Or was the person mistaken? I think they said it was posted in a magazine and had read the comments. Just seems weird to me that she would remove it if it was evidence in her favour.

I have to wonder if Amber has a thing about hands on neck or Musk does.

I saw the photo with the pills. It was posted with the rest of her "evidence" pics and was just her in a bathroom or something holding up a bottle of pills but you could not see the name on the bottle or what kind of pills they were.

'But our star witness turns out to be the serially violent Amber Heard herself, perjuring remorselessly in a sworn 2016 video deposition that we've just obtained, and then exposing her diabolical lies with her own friends and employees' testimony, subsequently discovered audio recordings, text messages, CCTV footage, TV appearances, multiple frauds, attempts to suborn perjury and documented abuse of others.'

A spokesman for Heard's legal team hit back, however, saying: 'Ms. Heard's testimony is clear that, in the incident described, she was attempting to escape an assault at the hands of Mr. Depp.

'It is unfortunately common for men who have committed domestic abuse to present themselves as the 'victim' when nothing could be further from the truth.'

We ALL Know that most men will Not come forward, even when their abuse is real, for fear of the consequences of looking weak or like they are liars. Men are supposed to be stronger, so, How can they be abused, Right?? WRONG!! I can tell you that this is Not the mindset of a male abuser!! Amber Heard's 'Team' needs to study some psychology of abuse Survivors and Perpetrators. They are in Need of Education!!!!

I expected this to happen and I think it is better this way. It will be OK, they will continue the trial when it is safe.

It is a shame but inevitable, London is about to go into lockdown and France is already in lockdown.

It just irritates me that this will be spun that she wanted to appear despite the health risks and that he didn't want to and wouldn't appear by video link.

When we can all see that it is very unlikely he has got cold feet. All the Sun has added to is more of him venting - not one single piece of evidence that he is a wife beater. I would think Johnny is far, far more interested than her in getting this heard.

I hope they settle with an apology from the Sun. I know some people want the vindication of a court but if the paper apologises - it will be admitting defeat. And I just can't bear this going into next year.

There is a worldwide pandemic. London is about to be shut down, France is shut down, many of the U.S. states are shut down (including the state I live in). The shutdown of this trial does not have anything to do with Amber Heard or Johnny Depp. This trial will go on just at a later date. Please be patient. I am sure that Johnny understands that this is only a delay. U.S. trials are postponed all the time for various reasons. They are postponed and then they continue at a later date. Maybe they do not do this in the U.K. but this pandemic is unprecedented. The Sun article is so silly that it damages their credibility. Adele you sound like you have a huge amount of anxiety. Being worried is not going to change the outcome it will only rob your of your happiness.

It was all blustering. The Sun knew full well the judge would delay it. Played their bluff but Johnny already got caught in France lockdown

The judge said two of Depp's legal representatives had already had to self-isolate because of the virus, and added that "no-one can predict whether others involved in the case, and I do not exclude myself, will either become infected or need to self-isolate."
