It's nice to know what time it is for other (time-)Zoners, so might be useful to have a time-converter on this board:
~~
How to use the time converter:
Select the JDZ-time you want to convert:
(example : Dec.10th, 7 pm EST)
___________________________________________________
Select time and place to convert from
Day : 10 Month: Dec Year: 2004 Hour: 17/5 pm
Location: U.S.A. - New York - New York
SELECT PLACE TO CONVERT TO
Location: .......................(select your country)
Click convert time

When I select The Netherlands - Amsterdam - I get this result:
New York (U.S.A. - New York) friday, 10 december 2004, 17:00:00 UTC-5 hours EST
Amsterdam (Netherlands) friday, 10 december 2004, 23:00:00 UTC+1 hour CET
Corresponding UTC (GMT) friday, 10 december 2004, 22:00:00
Only look at the second time. That is your local time. (the 3rd time is Greenwich Time, not important)
