Possibility of creating a new forum for encounter stories?

Possibility of creating a new forum for encounter stories?

Unread post by Linda M » Tue Dec 04, 2007 2:24 pm

I feel guilty for asking for something in this season of giving...but I'm going to anyway!

Would it be possible to have a forum where all the reports of Zoners' accounts of their encounters with Johnny could be saved? That way when the JDOCD kicks in with a 'vengeance', it could be 'assuaged' by reading some past encounters.

These encounters are "AWEsome' and it's a shame they can't be preserved!

Just an idea.....

Linda,

We do not permanently warehouse encounter stories on the Zone, and we have no plans to do so. Encounters do remain on the forums for a considerable period of time after the event, and we encourage members to save any encounter stories they enjoy that are personally meaningful to them.

If you love it, save it, and then you can have your own personal "encounter" file to read whenever you want to, tailored precisely to your own tastes. We believe that's the best way to handle it, since what thrills one member may well depress another. For every plea I get to save encounters forever, I also get a complaint when they stay on the Zone "too long." To each her own.
