Johnny about the book; Ik, Jan Cremer

Unread post by ibbi 3 » Thu Jan 14, 2016 6:56 pm

During a talk show tonight on Dutch tv (Jinek), our Hollywood reporter tells, he has spoken with Johnny Depp (unofficially) several times, about the book; Ik, Jan Cremer.
Johnny would like to make a movie from the book and he seems to be having that idea for many years allready.
He also tells, Johnny owns an early painting from Cremer.

The reporter commented Johnny would be to old now to act in the movie (would it ever be made) but he could produce it.

(I read the book many years ago.)

Listening to it again, it was Johnny himself who sayd he would be to old to act in it ( the leading role is a young man , early twenties ) sorry I missed that the first time I listened to it.

I wish we had a list of Johnny's books like the one that was shared of David Bowie's favorites. Thanks for sharing, ibbi.

Frankly we need a book liaison at Infinitum Nihil. Someone who will update his reading at least every six months. He reads too much!

I always get a little crazy when I see him holding a book so that, for no good reason, you can't see the cover, or the book's in the back pocket, or, worse yet, the photo shows the cover and a blurry mass of words. I peer at such photos, try enlarging them, fail. Sometimes we succeed in discovering a book -- like this one -- but overall it is a thankless task. We should have been photo analysis equipment.

:-O ONBC sleuths ever at work.
