Unread post by part-time poet » Sun May 11, 2008 12:52 pm

The Zone is happy to announce that in the first week of the 2008 Birthday Project, we have raised more than $2,000 for American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. :thud:

Many thanks :thanks!: to all of our donors for their generosity, and thanks to those of you who donated directly to the hospital, for letting us know of your support for the Birthday Project.

We're off to a great start!

This is great news, Part-Time Poet!

Sorry I wasn't on the crest of that first wave but I've added my contribution today.

It's Mother's Day in the U.S. and I felt like today would be a good day to catch that high and beautiful wave.

THANK YOU for setting up this year's Birthday Project for us. :flashingheart:

As a mother who is fortunate to live in a country which provides excellent health care for my chronically ill child, I feel honoured to be able to help towards helping other kids with a small contribution on Mother's Day. Together we Zoners can make a difference. Well done, all!!!:grouphug:

:thanks!: for letting us know PtP, what a fantastic achievement in such a short space of time. Johnny inspires such love and generosity in everyone and that's a rare thing in today's world. :heart2:
