The Zone is happy to announce that in the first week of the 2008 Birthday Project, we have raised more than $2,000 for American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.
Many thanks
to all of our donors for their generosity, and thanks to those of you who donated directly to the hospital, for letting us know of your support for the Birthday Project.
We're off to a great start!

This is great news, Part-Time Poet!
Sorry I wasn't on the crest of that first wave but I've added my contribution today.
It's Mother's Day in the U.S. and I felt like today would be a good day to catch that high and beautiful wave.
THANK YOU for setting up this year's Birthday Project for us.

As a mother who is fortunate to live in a country which provides excellent health care for my chronically ill child, I feel honoured to be able to help towards helping other kids with a small contribution on Mother's Day. Together we Zoners can make a difference. Well done, all!!!
One minute I’m mushing along with the huskies as usual, and all of a sudden it’s global warming.

for letting us know PtP, what a fantastic achievement in such a short space of time. Johnny inspires such love and generosity in everyone and that's a rare thing in today's world.

And Wit, was his vain frivolous pretence
Of pleasing others, at his own expense
