Johnny's facebook has a blue circle on it with a check mark which means it's verified. Anything else is not real JD account.

Yes, that’s the only one I reply to. I guess someone answers on his page for him generic thank yous etc.

It led me to a page entitled "Fake Johnny Depp Profiles". I STRONGLY suggest you have a look, there are quite a number of imposters and you will be shocked by some of what you see there!!

I had commented on his newest post, as I did to all of his posts on his IG account. But all of them were immediately removed. That is something I don't understand. I have posted on many other accounts and the posts there, but I never got a comment removed.
Why is this happening to me? Do they (JD's team) believe my IG account to be a fake or something?
I had sent my drawing with nicely written words to JD and still got no answer.
I'm really confused and sad , as I really want to express my thanks and gratitude to him in person.

Can any of you guys tell me what I'm doing wrong? I'd appreciate the help. Thanks in advance, mates.

I don't think they get removed, probably buried in the onslaught of folks reaching out to him. If we assume that 10% of his 4.9 million followers write him on any given day that's 590,000 new comments. Yeah....

I think the trick is to post within 30 minutes of his latest post coming on line. This is based on the assumption that Johnny, like a normal human, is gonna check and see how that latest post has gone over. Of course one has to deal with time zones. He is forever posting when I am sleeping.

Anyway, I always write him, in accord with that very same sound reasoning that motivates me to buy a lottery ticket at least once a month because, well, you know.

And to my mind he picked the perfect way to do it - when I saw Killer Mike's amazing speech I wondered if JD might post it since they genuinely are friends. I thought Johnny's works were superb, avoided the 'white saviour' trap so many celebs have fallen into. Helps of course that the sentiment he has drawn on is not new to him - this need for justice is something he's always had.
