So typically JD no? He gets a beautiful, expensive looking new jacket and pairs it with worn out boot. Man's got style.

Just tried to pre-order for the showing at the Cork film festival online tonight - only available in Republic of Ireland. That's my plans for the evening out - presume it's coming to Amazon etc very soon? I miss going to the cinema!

This is an updated (12/04/20) review/interview worth reading before and after seeing the film. A casual mention of Johnny early on, but about three-quarters through there’s a whole paragraph about Johnny’s involvement.

I ordered it on Prime Video (Amazon), but am waiting till Saturday evening to finish it - and probably watch it again. Can’t seem to pre-order the DVD yet. This is a keeper.

I am curious how many here have seen the film. I rented/streamed it on Depp Movie Day the 17th. It is a lovely film, very well done, very artistic (especially the part about Shane's childhood in Ireland). I was impressed by the way it was structured to tell the story. I can see why it has won awards! I am not sure how much Johnny had to do with the movie beyond providing money and opening doors, which is no small thing!, and his cameo appearance.
