Shows how out of touch I am, that not only am I unfamiliar with who Elon Musk is (I know now) but I honestly thought it was a brand of perfume.
Regarding Johnny's injury I wonder if that's why he didn't do any swordplay in Pirates 6?

I think there is some confusion because when the first article came out from The Blast, it was worded to make people think the hand accident happened at the apartment, and others are picking up on the story but it did not happen at the apartment. It happened in Australia. I posted a link here from Daily Mail which shows him boarding a private jet with his hand wrapped up heading to LA for the surgery. This was right after reports that the he injured his hand on the go carts at the house and right around the time Gina posted the IG thanking the medical facility for such good care

Edit: The complaint specifically states that "Musk's first appearance in Mr. Depp's penthouse occurred shortly after Ms. Heard threw a vodka bottle at Mr. Depp in Australia..."

So, to loosely connect some of the dots . . . While in Australia, Johnny brought up the topic of a post-nup property agreement, AH went trailer park at the suggestion and hurled a glass bottle of vodka at JD causing horrific harm to his right hand. Upon realizing the seriousness of JD’s injury, AH hightailed it to London ostensibly to begin filming London Fields. Somehow JD received some emergency medical attention (although who performed that remains a mystery) and then immediately returned to the US for serious reconstructive surgery. Meanwhile, JD’s team/Disney/both(?) released the relatively benign “go-cart accident” cover story with no details. I would think it may have been JD’s request to not blame AH at this point. By the time he was at home recuperating he was also being heavily sedated (I remember reading that somewhere a while back). AH returned home for a bit and began entertaining Musk. It didn’t take her long to see an opportunity to feed into the media’s craving for more details about the incident especially since JD’s recouperation was taking a lot longer than the two weeks originally predicted. I believe at some point AH decided to get creative - hence her “Crazy Johnny” mirror, paint, and bloody finger expose’ which came out, I think, when she was back in London. Still don’t know where Ms. Deuters falls in all of this.

The first article reported that Musk visited her a month after they were married and Johnny was out of the country filming, and one of the people from the hotel verified that so it must have been before he injured his hand in March. Gina only comes into the picture because at the same time Johnny was pictured boarding the private jet heading to LA for surgery she posted a pic of her hospital wristband and thanked the medical facility in Australia but nothing was ever confirmed about when or why she was there.

Summed up nicely, justintime. thatis my belief too. I Agree about Gina, although I do seem to recall a picture somewhere in the recess of my mind now. On the subject of pre-nups, Suzanne Witkin also posted on her facebook page that Johnny was all for signing a pre-nup, but it was Amber who refused to. Her comments seemed a little random at the time, but all the little pieces are starting to fit together. It's horrifying and satisfying at the same time. *sigh*

I am confused on one thing though - why do they say that this information (tapes and interviews) just came to light? Haven't the lawyers had the tapes and interview data all along?

According to the court papers, the lawyers had some of the tapes and interviews but when the case settled they most likely packed it all away and sent it to a storage facility. Johnny's lawyers may have asked for his file and found stuff he never knew about. Also, there have been some new people now that gave depositions in January and more extensive search for video tapes to prove his case against The Sun and the case against her.

Since the report of Musk visiting Heard a month into the marriage at the penthouse seems new and somewhat of a bombshell, I'm thinking that particular tidbit was not viewed/discovered until this year.

I can't find it now, but an Australian source recently posted that Musk was flying into Australia for a weekend during early Pirates filming and sent a message from the plane to Amber about meeting him. So, that was AFTER the LA penthouse video of him visiting late at night while only Johnny was in Australia at first.

Then she and her sister are seen hanging out with Musk at a Miami hotel a month or 2 after she filed for divorce. Then there's that other report from Johnny's friend, Robert Rodriguez, who was directing Heard in 2013's Machete Kills: he was asked to pass along Musk's invitation to meet Heard; Rodriguez did not pass it along, as it was common knowledge Heard was in a relationship with Johnny. Especially since he probably only cast Heard as a favor to Johnny.

After marrying her at all, let alone without a prenup, while everyone was telling him not to, it was probably difficult to admit he was wrong about her. Plus, unlike Musk, who was only looking for the wild fun & games, Johnny actually loved her.

If it's proven in court what's obvious to everyone (she was cheating on him since the beginning of the marriage), can he get the marriage legally annulled and the $7 mil back? Can you annul a marriage that ended in divorce (and in California)? Or is the purpose of referencing this in the lawsuit to present more examples of her disreputable character and cruel abuse?

I feel the same but am glad he is finally fighting back against those who wronged him and taking no prisoners.
