Re: The Lawsuits Thread
I don't follow this stuff that carefully. Puts me in a bad mood. In any case, does anyone know "who" the bodyguards in question are? I have noticed that we don't see Jerry any more. I hope it has nothing to do with him.

If I remember correctly...
These guys were fired some time back and were suing for unfair termination, citing JD’s drug use and claiming that they were basically Jack’s babysitters...or something, calling Johnny an absentee parent...blah,blah.
They weren’t with his team long.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
As far as I have heard Jerry has problems with his back, and even had to have an operation or is due to have one. So no, he's not suing his favourite charge - Johnny, I mean

Thanks meeps! Guess it's a good/bad thing. Sorry Jerry has back problems; glad he's still somewhat attached to JD. Re: The Lawsuits Thread
These were two security guys who worked for a company that Johnny's new business manager fired but kept these two. Their issue is that they were made to do things which they allege which was not part of the old company's employment contract but never really said they had a new contract anyway. I don't know who is right or wrong here, I only think they should have been grateful to still have jobs and Johnny only got dragged into this because he was their "boss" even though he had nothing to do with the business end of all this. On the bright side, I am glad it's over and these guys can go away and quit their whining.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
The last few years in the Depp fandom has been so depressing and disappointing. I just had to leave it alone.

You are not alone, sleepy. The simultaneous sense of intense loss, sadness, and anger has often been overwhelming and somehow creeps into every day, every corner of my heart and mind. Those are the times I retreat.
I doubt I’d be speaking only for myself when I say you are missed.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
A few points of note. Jerry has indeed undergone back surgery and is now back to work (hopefully not doing too much, although that's doubtful). Most of the security guards are sub-contractors and wouldn't be able to pick their 'employer' out in a crowd. Out of the people I have met who had been in close contact with AH did not like her - I have not read the article (I will not click anything related to her) but I would not be surprised if they called her that. And finally it only seems to be the fan base who reads any of it anyway - those and internet trolls who have no life - most of Joe Public have no idea any of this is going on (nor care). Indeed, if her name is mentioned it is followed by the word 'who?' That does me!
What stuns me is why she involved herself in The Sun fiasco in the first place. He wasn't suing her, just them (rightfully so) for printing a falsehood. He doesn't have to prove anything, but since she has been flapping her gums and falsed his hand I hope she has a long handled space to dig herself out of the hole she has created (actually I don't. I hope someone turns up with a digger and buries the ).

For me it just goes to show that every time she opens her mouth she puts her foot in it. She says she is looking forward to moving on and then turns around and brings up a whole lot of nonsense.Tara wrote:A few points of note. Well, you know the saying...'given enough rope'. She is liberal with the truth, there is no doubt about that and that is what will eventually send her to the Hollywood gallows - and maybe even gaol (although I think I'd be equally satisfied watching her serving a Community Sentence and scaping dog-poop off the sidewalks).

That MIGHT do it, Tara, but only if she had to wear prison garb while fulfilling her sentence.Tara wrote:Well, you know the saying...'given enough rope'. Seriously though, I just don’t think the she’d ever receive a sentence ( or court ruling/decision ) of any sort to really redress the harm she’s inflicted. AH (surely guided by her ever-present backers) insinuating herself into the SUN lawsuit was genius. It has allowed her to slide open the window for the resurrection of the ugliest and most sensational headlines - with the addition of a few more - exposing the whole mess to a broader than ever bottom-line-oriented audience, not just quick-to-judgement, headline-limited trolls and social media cowards. Johnny must be exonerated this time around, beyond a shadow of a doubt, for himself, his family, his future, and for the worthy but long-neglected causes he has so bravely chosen to shine a light upon at his own expense.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
She already did all the damage she could've done. Nobody who's supported and believed in Johnny the past few years is gonna change their mind.
Never forget. Never forgive.
