I thought anti-SLAPP laws were changed after the case was filed or after the piece was published, not sure which, but would not apply retroactively. All this is so confusing and it is exhausting.

Boy, this cannot happen!!!

The VA new Anti-SLAPP would be applied to all ongoing litigation, not retroactive to settled cases, as I read it.

New Filings up explaining this. NO. Looks like she wants an Evidentiary Hearing with a Jury or it gets decicded at trial. In other words, if the Jury finds for her, then they could also find for the Anti-Slapp and he will have to pay her legal fees

AdeleAgain: As a non-legal old battle axe looking at this, I would say the request for the former attorney to sit for a deposition -

1) to add more confusion?

2) Paperwork?

3) Make Judge White pissed off to throw this out of court?

4) Trying to really piss off JD, Ben & Adam, so JD will drop the case?

5) Running the clock down on this "game" so it has no merit - statute of limitations, no longer legally possible?

6) Trying to " break" JD's fandom base - as they are "tired" of supporting him?

7) JD would run out of $$$$ for his Russian bots?

8) Picking her former attorney apart as to why only certain documents were agreed upon from Disney

9) and the LAPD?

10) Trying to "get back" at her for bailing?

11) Humiliation tactic?

12) As Heard is a blackmailing, cocaine using, extortionist, freeloading, gaslighting, manipulative, narcissistic, evil, stupid, vile, two-headed scum-sucking snake who thinks that she is an A-list actress. Who wants nothing more than to take down one of the best men in the industry. To prove to all that she is superior to everyone. (IMO - also my personal favorite)

Granna~ Thanks for your excellent theories. I had a good chuckle while having my morning coffee as well. And I personally like your #12 opinion as my favorite too.

A side note, I'm confident that Mr. Ben Chew can handle anything AH slings Johnny's way. Whatever extra paper work she's causing, her side has to deal with her crazy demands and, in my opinion, that's even a bigger headache.

Thanks for the list Granna. I agree with others on #12, but you missed out violent thug and bully
I've been thinking AH has been playing penis-ponzi. She runs up debts then finds a man to pay for them all. When she can no longer bleed them, she moves on to the next man, getting them to pay what she owes from her previous mark. She takes women in-between (and during) for fun, but takes the men for the money.

I'm betting JD paid all her debts when they got together/married. He paid her bills as they went and another $6.75m she ran up on credit cards during the marriage, then the $7m divorce. She then spent it all (a considerable amount must have gone almost immediately to her co-conspirators). And she had spent the money before it was all paid to her - she had to mine Elon twice during the payment period (and dumped him each time - on the day she got her next cheque from Johnny).

Someone asked the other day what she did with all the money. She would have had to pay for the silence and continued cooperation of her partners in crime. It would have been from a much reduced pot, so they would have all been underpaid (we heard her father's complaints about how much he would "lose"). She would not have had much left imo. iO even said she was out of pocket (I'm guessing that was just what she told him when she gave him less than negotiated). Maybe if each knew what the others were actually paid......

Hi, I wanted to put your minds at ease as to some of Granna's post.

A judge being pissed off at litigants or attorneys is not a valid legal reason to throw a case out of court. There has to be valid legal grounds to throw the case out of court. There would be no cases if a judge was allowed to throw out a case just because he/she was annoyed with the litigants.

Also, the statute of limitations only applies to filing the case. The American Justice system is very slow. it is not unusual for one or both sides to ask for delays. Eventually the judge will lose his patience and tell them that they are done with delays and that they have to move forward.

I don't think that Johnny is going to just give this up. He has a lot invested in this trial. It is not just about the money, it is his reputation. The UK trail was a travesty. I think he feels that he must go forward with this trial and also appeal the UK trial. He must get his good name back.
