Just to update: Amber Heard has filed a motion to sanction Adam for violating the protective order. I think They also want to get a new more broad order going forward

I believe they are in panic mode as they expect to lose the hearing in California regarding the charity donations and they don’t want it made public that she didn’t donate (as Depp team suggests is true)

I agree and her motions now seem really desperate reiterating the same things over and over. I would love to know how they intend to prove Johnny is behind the Change.org petition to have her fired from Aqua Man or that he is on a campaign to smear her when he kept quiet for so long while Amber was trashing him all over the place. She is done in Hollywood. If she thinks that Johnny has enough power to get her banned then she has no idea what Disney can do to her and filing motion against them for sanctions was career suicide. She has not been confirmed for Aquaman and has nothing as far as acting on the horizon either.

I believe we can actually be confident that she did not donate the money - otherwise she would have posted the receipts as they say, and shut that argument down.

Aren't the other tape recordings now handed over to her? I wonder when we'll start to hear about what's in them.

I think she knew Disney would never hire her anyway given what she did in hurt the Alice Through the Looking Glass box office - but I would have thought it would make the other studios pause as well - if her other behaviour hasn't already done so - or she extent of the hate she gets in public.

I must admit it still drives me a little mad that she parades around as if nothing has happened - says it all that she counters JD's lovely red carpet appearances with photos of her at some shopping outlet ... sorry farmers market.

Is Amber's new lawyer out of her mind??? She put in the lastest filing that Johnny did the followiing:

"malicously tweet false statements about Ms. Heard and orchestrate a social media campaign of fake and inauthentic social media accounts designed to carry out his objective of destroying Ms. Heard's reputation and career."

First of all, Johnny doesn't have a twitter account. Secondly, a lot of the accounts that are anti-Amber can be authenticated and thirdly, she doesn't need any help from him for the destruction of her reputation and career because she did that all on her own. She flat out said that she was warned by friends and colleagues not to do what she did but she didn't listen so I have no pity for her. Not now, not ever.

Another very good video from Lost Beyond Pluto. She is good at the technical, legal stuff - and I have to say that if she (who admits to being a relatively junior lawyer) can rubbish nearly all the points (only one area she says she would need to read JD's lawyer's arguments as she doesn't know Virigina law) - you realise what JD's legal team can do with all their experience and knowledge of state law.

This whole focus on Adam and JD starting the petition etc is just so painful. The wonderful person who started it has been tweeting - I believe - from the outset. I was certainly aware of her from fairly early when I was looking at twitter comments. Surely all that needs to happen is a straight forward witness statement from her - which I bet she would be glad to give. (And if she is on this forum or reading this - God bless you and your wonderful work!)

Depp filed they opposition to Compel him to deposition. They also had provided all the WB communications they had

They clearly say there is no prejudice to AH as she has the entire UK trial packet and witness statements and transcripts. They have all the answers to depo questions for Depp and no emergency and no reason they can’t move forward with other depositions. And a depo in March is many weeks before discovery deadline

Lbock thanks for posting that - what a terribly simple and well laid out argument JD's side make. No drama, no need for tantrums. It must drive AH's side mad.

AH's motions seem simply designed to allow her to generate some headlines. They don't help her but perhaps they are some comfort to the handful of faithful who seize upon them as 'proof' that everything she says is true.

I second every word you’ve written up there, Moonbeam. I’ve gotten to a place where I’m not even sure I’m interpreting the expertise properly, but It certainly helps and I sure am glad that it’s there. Thank you, ladies!

Also, Moonbeam, I think we are in good company with our pins and needles nerves re: the pending UK/SUN decision from Mr. Justice Nicol. As anxious as I am, though, to get a resolution I think I can be patient if a thorough and just decision is the result.

Private texts/hyperbole is covered under free speech and not a lacivious computer crime harassment. Her Defamation claim is a copycat of JD's to be determined at the original trial. Johnny has a right to defend against her lies-truth ultimate defense of defamation. AND, she fails to cite a single case for a declatory judgement and dismissal based on anti-SLAPP laws.

What's also interesting, is that apparently Heard's team has extended a second Subpoena to Twitter, which I presume is directly related to her counterclaim. It has not been uploaded to the Fairfax website yet, but already being argued in California.

It is attached to Adam Waldman's tweets, who has a residence in California, and Twitter which is based in California.

They are asking for Adam's IP addresses from where he tweets from, but are also interested in the identity of more than 200 twitter accounts. They are intending to schedule an Information Discovery Conference with the Judge on Oct 20 if they judge accepts.

Not for nothing, but I’d love to see some reference from JD’s side going back to the days of Kaplan & Co’s lie-laden, ferocious texts, media comments, etc. during her stint as AH’s counsel of record. The only way for AH to defend her apparent condoning of Kaplan’s behavior and the eventual parting of ways between these two peas-in-a-(crowded TimesUp) pod would be for AH to (oh-so-reluctantly) acknowledge she had to fire the mouthy, irreverent RK for being so unprofessional!

What a runaway, three-ring circus the Courts are allowing this case to become. Not even a nod to the possibility of Justice for the original defamed initiator (Johnny, in case you’re actually wondering at this point) being the Courts’ overriding, endgame concern.

The current issue remains Twitter's unwillingness to reveal who is behind the @DevinCow account. Twitter, correctly, continues to point out that it doesn't need to give up the account info, that it's protected from doing so under Section 230, that the Cow has engaged in 1st Amendment protected speech, and more. And Biss's response appears to be... "but Twitter's mean to us, so it's not fair, it's not, it's not, it's not."
