Excerpt re Melanie’s declaration as stated by AH UK lawyer

To refute the allegation that she never spoke with Ms. Heard’s English
3 barrister, Petitioners obtained a declaration from that barrister, Jennifer Robinson.

5 Decl.”).] Ms. Robinson states that she spoke with Ms. Inglessis on two occasions.
6 The first was a telephone call on July 18, 2019, which took place after Ms. Inglessis
7 had provided Ms. Heard’s US counsel with a declaration that Ms. Robinson was

Thanks. I'm trying to read it and will respond more later but first off, James Corden show tapes in the afternoons, so right there we know the dec. is a lie. Melanie said when she arrived she saw writing that JD did "that night" and alleged injuries and then they went to studio.

"As of this writing, odds are you'll be told to show up at CBS Television City at around 3 or 3:30 PM. But it pays to arrive earlier, since TV shows always give out more tickets than they have seats, on the theory that some people won't show up. So if you're not early, you risk not getting into the taping."

P.S. It was filed on May 29, 2020. The date stamp across the top shows the date of the filing. Not sure when it was filed but she wasn't friends with AH for all that long. She only met AH in 2015.

The statements of Melanie and Samantha are two completely different stories. Melanie's statement makes no sense, imo.

Melanie says she was supposed to go bowling with Amber (since when does Amber bowl?) the night before the James Corden show but Amber said no because there was an alleged "bad" fight with Johnny. So the NEXT day she goes to the apartment to apply make up (where a hair stylist was also there) and sees writing JD did "that night" and alleged injuries. Then the three of them leave to go to the studio but the James Corden show doesn't tape at night. Ok.....

Samantha says she was with Amber most of the "day and night" doing her hair and make up the day of the James Corden show and saw no evidence of injury, which would include a clump of missing hair.

That pic Melanie provided as an exhibit was most likely not taken by her and she never says that she took it. As a matter of fact, she never said that she took ANY pics. The pic was provided to her to use.

Anybody know if the hair stylist that was supposed to have been there got subpoenaed or deposed?

Melanie’s declaration was taken sometime prior to July 18 2019

It is now an exhibit of a larger filing by NGN, an opposition/motion to compel her to testify. That larger motion was filed on May 29, 2020. So all the pages including exhibits of the larger motion will have that stamped across the top

I interpret it now as two separate times if the day. But we will see. She saw her at the penthouse in good light no makeup. Then she saw her again in the evening at the studio. I don’t think she was there with Melanie and the hairstylist. That’s the only explanation I can come up with that their declarations are complete opposites, Melanie must now have known Samantha saw her earlier that day with no makeup—it’s really interpretation and we will see.

Yes, but Melanie implies she was there at night and they wen to the studio the tapings for the show are in the afternoon. This is what doesn't make any sense to me.

Seems like Samantha styled Amber's hair and did her makeup. Was there supposed to be a separate hair stylist too?

I am reading Amber's declaration right now and it never mentions the hair stylist being at the apt. She only says Melanie and Raquel were there BUT Melanie never mentions anything at ALL of Raquel being there either. So strange...nothing makes any sense.

Also, in her dec. Amber says she contacted her publicist to say she might not be able to make the appearance on the Late Show "which was scheduled for the following day" because of her alleged injuries but she wouldn't know how bad she would look until the following morning. Then says she asked Melanie and Raquel to help her cover up her bruises with make up so she could make it to the Late Show. So....did that mean she slept in make up all night and never took a shower? Did they stay there all night? What about the stylist that was supposed to have been there? Melanie said her and the stylist (whom Amber never mentions) fixed up Amber and took her to the studio. I think I'm done trying to figure this out because these decs are really screwed up very which way to Sunday.

Too many inconsistencies and lack of truthful information of who, what, where and when.

It is surprising to learn that there was another person also at the penthouse on 16 December 2015 preparing Amber for her James Corden appearance. None of Amber, Raquel or Samantha mentioned Adir Abergel, the hair stylist.
(Samantha, as clothes stylist, might not have been at the penthouse at the same time as Adir.)
Adir would be able to confirm how much hair was missing and whether it was from scalp or extensions. It seems Adir has chosen not to make a statement or Amber doesn't want him to speak.

10. I also remember that Adir Abergel—Amber’s hair stylist—was working on Amber's hair while I did Amber’s makeup. Adir and I both discussed how we had noticed that Amber was missing a chunk of hair, and Adir noted that he was being careful to work around the missing chunk and to cover it up.

11, Meanwhile, I was working on Amber's makeup and distinctly remember having no choice but io use a bright red lipstick that day because it was the only way to cover the injury on her lip. 1 was also able to cover the bruise adjacent to Amber's eye using makeup.

Based on what we know, I am inclined to think that Melanie thought Amber was her friend and she believed what Amber told her. Now Melanie is caught not knowing if she was used by a liar or to stand with a friend.

Presumably some (although I suspect not all) of AH's friends were as shocked as we were about the tape where she freely admits and even boasts about hitting him.

If you lied to help your friend because you thought she was being abused -you would listen to that recording and think 'uh-oh what HAVE I done'.

The only thing against my own argument is that Raquel seemed to be practically living with them so must have had some inkling; Whitney seems to have witnessed AH's violence and may have had first hand knowledge; and Melanie was there in the week after May 21.
