This is my understanding of the bond. She would have to place the bond with the courts (not Johnny) in the full amount plus 6% if she wants to appeal and stop Johnny from collecting now.

LBock: Correct. Judge Penny kept the legal door open on the up & up. This is also true for JD. Bond of $ 2 mil + fees and interest. Leaving the door open for him to appeal her counterclaim. This is NOT 10% DOWN. IT MUST BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE the litigant can file. If the appeal is denied, the other party has their money.

Right - but she can pay someone a fraction (unrefundable to her) to pay the full amount for her on promise and money down that whoever pays will get paid back, that's what a Bond means.

FYI: Just completed a video with Andrea Burkhart on excerpts of Rocky's deposition. It is available on replay anytime you might be interested.

Thank you, LBock, for your excellent review and analysis - with the delightful and knowledgeable Ms. Burkhart - of Rocky Brooks’ deposition. I fear that although this Brooks case comes off, initially, as deceptively cut and dry, it could easily and quickly morph into anything but….

Seems high-powered Beverly Hills trial attorney Pat Harris may finally be making an appearance if JD seeks a trial. Harris has been, curiously, attached to the Brooks case going back to at least Fall of 2019. Since then he’s kind of laid low, but certainly not prone.

Pat Harris, who represents Scott Peterson in his latest filings. He signed on about a month before the trial was originally to go forward.

Johnny has credible witnesses and the tme stamped photos. I hope the jury sides with Johnny

Just saw a comment posted from instragram. Adam Waldman says he is in Australia. Looks like the investigation into Amber Heard's perjury in "doggy gate" just took a big step forward. Hopefully we will hear of an indictment soon.

This was so good to read. I was hoping he was just keeping his head down until after VA and I’m glad he is back in public. My recommendations to Adam while his is over here:

Step 1. Apply for Australian citizenship
Step 2. Join or form a political party
Step 3. Receive citizenship
Step 4. Renounce all other citizenships
Step 5. Parachute into a safe seat
Step 6. Become party leader (if not already)
Step 7. Become Australia’s Prime Minister

Australia can fast-track citizenship (eg athletes, investors and VIPs) – down to a few days if necessary. Bob Hawke did steps 5 to 7 in 3 years (and steps 6 to 7 in just 5 weeks). With the right contacts and resourcing, Adam could be running Australia by mid-2025, even by end of this year with some luck. Ahh, we can only hope.

He may just be here for a holiday, but I suspect it’s to follow up on AH’s perjury, maybe also to organise a fleet of defamation lawyers……..

But would it hurt him to look at the citizenship thing?

Just an FYI. I’ve got 6 hrs in surgery on Monday (4th July), hospital through to Friday and radiation starts about 5 weeks later (5 days a week for 6 weeks), so I don’t know how much input I will be contributing for a few months. I will try to keep up, but can’t promise to post. I have not abandoned the fight.

It all looks quite survivable (an SCC skin cancer, removed almost a year ago, that spread to a single lymph node underneath, on my neck between my ear and jaw). Pretty simple - slice’n’dice and nuke after. Although I hate to name names (well, not really), Lbock - your strength and energy throughout has been a personal inspiration.

I am sure the default from my friends and fellow zoners will be well wishes and hopes for a speedy recovery, so it doesn’t need to be said. That will save Theresa the need to clean-up and relocate OT posts to prevent clogging the thread. Feel free to DM if you want and I will try to reply before I go under.

I know you guys and Johnny’s team will get through any AH leftovers and Brooks issues without me, so I’ll catch you all on the other side of those roaring rapids (maybe bobbing up for air every now and then).
