The jury understood the evidence and made the right decision. It's a good day, indeed, for all of us that justice for Johnny Depp came to pass. Today begins a new chapter in his life with peace and promising adventures on the horizon.

Amazing what relief - after the travesty of London I hardly dared hope. What is most wonderful is that the overwhelming majority of people are with him.

Been lurking on this thread for years. This is a glorious day for JD and JD supporters. Witnessing the level of support this man has received from across the globe, in the face of everything, has been awe-inspiring. I can't wait for the things JD will bring us in the future. I think that she has the right to appeal, that does not mean that her appeal will be granted. She can not appeal on the grounds that she does not like the verdict. There has to be a legal basis for an appeal. I am quite sure she will try to find some basis for appeal, it is just another step in the process. The losing side always attempts to appeal.

The live stream channel of lawyers I was watching said her lawyers were building up for an appeal by making sure their objections got put on the record so I won't be surprised and we all know how she always has to have the last word but for now we rejoice his win. He had a wonderful legal team and they did a really great job.

Ok, so there is a statutory requirement in VA which limits the amount of punitive damages at $350,000 and minus the $2 million she was awarded brings his award number down but who cares? In the end he had the lead win. This is the channel I was watching and at the end they break it all down.

Thank you, AdeleAgain, for the clip/video of Johnny’s Team’s Legal Consultant Kathleen Zellner’s interview with Law & Crime. First time I ever heard Ms. Zellner speak; she had a lot of good things to say about Johnny and confirmed several observations we’ve heard before.

Like thousands of others I was watching as the verdicts were announced. Happy tears just popped out as one decision after another was found in Johnny’s favor. I hope Johnny felt a visceral lightness in his being as he heard the verdicts with us. Just absolutely loved his typed statement.

Relax, now, Johnny and embrace every thought, every second, free of the clouds that have hovered over your every waking moment for seemingly forever. No more. You “have (had) the courage to never abandon yourself.” Time now to take your own advice again, dear man, and, “Laugh as much as you breathe and Love as long as you live.” Everyday. Take good care of yourself. We will love you always.
