Re: The Lawsuits Thread
In fact, I think she would have to beat Chris Rock worse than she beat Johnny to stand any chance of an Oscar.

Watching and listening to her testify is like watching a bad soap opera taking place in the twilight zone.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
I posted the Daily News article on my Twitter account.
Is it true that her sister Whitney is not going to testify? To me, that in and of itself is evidence she is lying. And there is an older sister apparently. Anyone know her name and what state she lives in?

Yes, she has an older sister but I think it's a step sister.

Regarding the bolded, that rag lost credibility for me because of something they said a while back (nothing to do with Johnny, so I won't mention it here); UK media has in depth coverage but interestingly no comments allowed.Inquiring Minds wrote: ↑Thu May 05, 2022 6:00 pmI've also been scanning some MSM. I'm waiting for Johnny's team to cross examine the husband beater - let's hope they throw the book at her.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
I could not stand her "performance" in the box, the livetweets of Nick would have been a better choice maybe.
I dragged a friend to watch some of her testimony to get a neutral opinion: she immediately said that AH seems credible, but paddled back 15mins later saying "something is off, aggressive, very dramatic, possibly overacting - maybe an American thing?" (We live in Europe, please don't judge....)
I hope, the jury feels the same. I am wondering about what the jury was thinking listening to her horrific description of the Australia incident and was shown pictures of lampshades, mirrors and floors. A shame the tape cannot be introduced!
I noted that Elaine is making her case, reminding her of things she once told. It will be a bloodbath in cross when team Depp will confront her (go to your UK testimony, go to witness testimony one....three....five...there you said...)
You would assume people cannot lie on the stand, and yet she is doing it easily. My only answer for it is mental illness. Still, wow.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Dr Curry was spot on. Feels very good now that AH's mental wellness was brought into the equation.
And even if AH was a good actress, we've already seen countless witnesses disproving all the garbage she spewed. At this point, the only way you can possibly believe her is if you've got your memory wiped out and aren't reminded "oh by the way, this is a provable lie".

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Kate slipped on some stairs while she was with Johnny - no pushing involved - and I believe there is a photo of it out there. Simply Amber trying to get some doubt in to the Jury's' minds. Ben Chew got very excited about her saying Kate's name, as I think it now leaves the door wide open for them to cross examine her on her relationship with Taysa - silly Amber!

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Whitney became ill in the middle of her deposition and was never cross examined so she may not be allowed to testify.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Now she's got her creepy "legendary journalist" friend trashing JD fans because they don't like the ex. She has the nerve to talk about physical abuse against the ex when, in fact, the ex herself admitted to throwing punches, objects and hitting JD in the head with a door on audio tapes and never once said it was in self defense. She must have lied at least ten times on the stand, maybe more.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Please understand that *nothing* the MSM says has any affect on this trial. The only opinions that matter are the jurors and they are forbidden from reading about, listening to or discussing the trial. Nobody in the MSM or social media, or sadly, even the people here, have any vote on the jury. The MSM is a business, they write stories that will get clicks and make them money. They depend on the idea that people will think that what they say matters. But, it does not matter to the *only* people who have an opinion that counts and that is the jury. The MSM thinks that they are important to this trial but their stories are actually meaningless to the outcome of the trial. All the MSM stuff is background noise that the jury does not hear.hollyberry wrote: ↑Fri May 06, 2022 2:26 amRegarding the bolded, that rag lost credibility for me because of something they said a while back (nothing to do with Johnny, so I won't mention it here); UK media has in depth coverage but interestingly no comments allowed.Inquiring Minds wrote: ↑Thu May 05, 2022 6:00 pmI've also been scanning some MSM. Also, AH just hired a new PR firm.
