The body language says it all.
BTW if you are worried all of this isn't getting out and about - the most nerdy, not-interested-in-show-biz member of my team came into the office the other day and said "well you girls will be interested to know that apparently AH is being investigated for perjury". MSM silence also won't help during the actual trial.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
So they never defended her, they defended their "projet de loi", the BELIEVE ALL WOMEN NO MATTER WHAT act ...
and they picked the best example of why ... we should not do that ...
The project was/is: each accusation of DV against men should be considered as guilt, no due process needed, no presumption of innocence, women's words should be taken as evidence (remind me Wass with her: "her testimony alone should be sufficient to convince your lordship", wouaw just wouaw!!!
People should believe in Karma, they could't choose a worst poster woman for that ... one night in jail for DV witnessed by a woman policer officer, admission of repetitive violence on tapes, lies about donation to vulnerable people and paid to speak on their behalf, perjury on all continent...
Her relationships are the key here ...most famous actor in the world to play the incarnation of "privileged white man" falling from his grace (in their dreams!) based on a woman words only, no due process needed nor wanted and richest person in the world becoming a top donator ... how ironic is it for a so called feminist to only exist through her's men romantic links ...so very strong and independent...
Pardon my French

Caribbean dream? More like a curse!
The divorce war between Amber Heard (35) and movie pirate Johnny Depp (57) is really picking up speed again. After spectacular new police videos and investigations into perjury against Amber, BILD now has more exclusive new evidence photos. And these let Heard's statements appear in a completely new light.
These are recordings of Depp's Caribbean island "Little Hall's Pond Cay" (Bahamas) that have never been seen before: sun, beach, cuddly kisses!
BRISANT: The photos from the love vacation were shot by British star photographer Greg Williams (48) in December 2015. They were taken on the fringes of a fashion shoot that Amber made while on vacation on the island. According to her testimony, she was said to have been severely abused by Johnny Depp just TEN days earlier.
So heavy that supposedly even the bed frame splintered! The incident played a central role in the process in London last year. The pictures just weren't there yet.
Amber: "I had bruised ribs, bruises all over my body (...), two blue eyes, a broken nose, a cracked lip."
The actor fell in love with the island of Little Hall's Pond Cay while filming “Pirates of the Caribbean” and bought it in 2004 for 3 million euros. There are a total of six private beaches, the houses are s

NOW THESE PICTURES!
A happy, radiant amber who cuddles with the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star Depp, romps on the beach or rides over the waves at high speed in a rubber tube (water tubing). How does that fit in with the supposedly bad injuries?
BILD asked the renowned emergency physician Prof. Peter Sefrin, member of the DRK Presidium, how this is medically possible: “Both a broken nose and a bruised rib can cause very severe pain, bruised ribs especially when breathing. You don't necessarily see it on the outside, although a broken nose can also be very crooked. The nose has to be operated on if it is broken, a bruised rib heals after around 14 days. "
Remarkable: There is no medical certificate or X-rays of the broken nose from the incident of the alleged abuse on December 15, 2015. Amber's private nurse, whom she called in two days after the incident, testified at the time that she could not see any visible injuries.
At that time she still seemed quite in love with her Johnny
Amber Heard seemed still quite in love with her Johnny
Amber's lawyer Elaine Bredehoft referred BILD to the London court ruling, which followed her client's account of the mistreatment and the objection to a subsequent vacation: "All evidence has already been fully taken into account."
Depp's lawyer Adam Waldmann (52) sees it differently. He to BILD: “New evidence shows that Amber has performed various perjuries in court. Nothing speaks for a broken nose, bruised ribs, blue eyes, cracked lips and bruises all over your body if you are photographed in a bikini surfing the waves and jumping around on the beach just a few days later. "

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Looks like Johnny has filed a petition to compel documents from the ACLU but this is not a complaint against them and therefore not a lawsuit according to this document. Still, let's see how they respond.

I do not understand this either, the appeal is the very decision of this. you are right .. maybe she has some kind of benefit in thisForeverYoung wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 4:15 pmI don't see why she can't appeal if she looses. She doesn't need permission to do that and many strange things can happen in a litigation so who knows if something will change BUT a lot is coming out about the ACLU and proof the article in the Washington Post was about JD. The Umbrella Guy is going to be releasing more stuff, including an LAPD investigation.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Here is a link to all the documents filed in the NYC ACLU compel case. These are mostly exhibits of transcripts, etc from their filing in California regarding Heard attempting to quash CHLA - so Depp team is using these as similar arguments. Lots of sass in the transcripts, enjoyForeverYoung wrote: ↑Tue May 18, 2021 11:53 pmLooks like Johnny has filed a petition to compel documents from the ACLU but this is not a complaint against them and therefore not a lawsuit according to this document. ALSO, great excerpts from the transcripts posted on twitter in this thread (many tweets) for a quick read.

I would not want to be any of Amber Heard's attorneys right now. She probably has flames coming out of her head and taking fits.

ForeverYoung: Remember the saying - Money talks and B.S. walks?
Didn't work this time.
She needs to handle the flames/heat. It will only be getting more difficult.
The bright side: She has more time to adjust to her new enviroment and home.
Her new address: Tarturus
One way. Non- stop. No frills. Express

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Lbock quite rightly got a twitter round of applause yesterday for her services to truth and justice - thanks so much Lbock, you truly are fantastic.
It is actually quite hard to take in all that has come out recently. This ACLU stuff is clearly incredibly, incredibly serious as I suppose it threatens to expose alleged inappropriate behaviour by a charity and possibly tax issues.
I feel slightly scared by the power of the forces JD is up against but I was buoyed by attending a presentation this week talking about the speed at which the world is changing and some of the reasons. Flashed up a picture of Greta Thunberg and the point was made that the mightly forces self protecting themselves don't always win.
This is a theory I have been thinking about. I think key factors in favour of 'David's' winning over 'Goliath's' is when the David (1) has facts on their side (2) manages to reach a wide audience despite efforts to shut them down (3) the Goliath is instinctively disliked or mistrusted by most people.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
So in reading one of the documents filed in NYC against ACLU, it appears there was a ruling on her earlier Plea in Bar TO USE an anti-SLAPP defense-a ruling on March 24 that was never uploaded.
https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/fbem/D ... ystem=prod
Top of page 7, “Virginia Court denied Mr. Depp’s motion, declining to deny Ms. Heard’s plea in bar for anti-SLAPP immunity before trial.”
So courthouse news was correct in reporting this. So it is a defense a jury can consider

Earlier this year, Bredehoft fought for – and won – the right to use an anti-SLAPP defense. The term SLAPP – strategic lawsuits against public participation – was coined to describe lawsuits that aim to silence or short-circuit free speech. Virginia’s anti-SLAPP law allows immunity from civil liability for statements about matters of public concern protected under the First Amendment.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
But if it is demonstrated that she lied about abuse - can she still use anti-SLAPP defence?
