Re: The Lawsuits Thread
He found one sexual assault likely true in Australia and would have for Thanksgiving except Johnny wasn’t crossed on that

Please see paragraph # 238 (vi) under "Incident 3 Hicksville 2013." It was not in the private session but in a confidential annex nonethless.
"I address another aspect of this incident in the Confidential Annexe to this judgment in which I do not accept the futher allegation made by Ms. Heard in relation to this incident."

I hope Steven Crowley actually has something serious to say and is not just looking for some popularity.
And also see this - imagine my surprise.

Nothing against Mads, but I am finished with WB.
Johnny did not lose an assault charge. He lost a libel case against a sleazy tabloid hack.
God, how I despise Amber Heard. An abuser pretending to be a victim. She's only got away with this because she's female.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
I have nothing against Mads either but no matter who they hire, nobody can be Grindelwald except Johnny Depp. He created that look, that style, that personality, etc. and he owns it. Period. I will not be paying one cent to watch FB3. Warner Bros and JK Rowling stabbed Johnny in the back because of a judge that had connections to the defendants and AH's lawyer. JK Rowling even saw Johnny's evidence and knew he was a victim. I can't even bring myself to watch Harry Potter films anymore. They were on all day and I refused to watch one second of any of them.

Personal attack on a Zoner edited out

When Johnny lost the libel suit, it was game over. Dan Fogler said he’d be making a new post about this situation this week and I’m curious to see if there’ll be any clarity. I guess it’s still a possibility that Johnny was actually asked to step down but for another reason. What if there was a worry that his shooting schedule could be interrupted further with him appealing and the VA trial prep?
I still think Emmerich made the call because he’s in the hot seat, he’s in trouble in regards to Ray Fisher’s accusations (should be noted that Joss Whedon was just canned off his HBO show and the investigation by Warner Media is ongoing) and he must have thought that getting rid of Johnny would somehow do wonders and earn him some cookie points.
After all, there were clearly quite a few critics who had an axe to grind with Johnny on TCOG and the libel suit nonsense gives license to some of the press to paint Johnny with that brush.
Who knows but don’t ever blame JK Rowling for something that is beyond her control. The studio cuts the checks.
I’m going to say something bold and that will probably make some people angry but Johnny would be livid at some of his fans either trashing JK (thankfully there has been little of that), Dan, Mads or other people involved with the production. Especially spamming some of their social media with the boycottfantasticbeasts and other nonsense hashtags.
I hope some of them take a hard long look in the mirror at themselves and think about what they’re doing. Blame the studio, blame Heard, blame Justice Nichol, they are the sole culprits.
And as Poppy Corby Tuech said very simply and elegantly in an IG post, the only person who needs to know how she feels about the situation is Johnny and he knows it.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Well said. This is actually all down to the lies told by one person, and ultimately that is the only person I ultimately care is made to take responsibility.
Everyone who has supported or enabled those lies will get some fallout from it. But ultimately we must save our anger for her.
I am not boycotting WB pictures that have Johnny in them because that hurts his royalty checks - I am in fact streaming away as you all know.
And I am waiting for the day that (probably) Lbock breaks the news on the CHLA donations through court documents, and I just really pray that she hasn't somehow managed to worm her way out of it but if she lied - it is laid bare.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
I am praying to the courthouse gods that we get some good news this week, please oh please!
She is doing what she can to delay the CHLA subpoeana. I also believe she will mark it all confidential and Depp team will have to fight to get it declassified. But I'm not sure it will be leaked before trial, sadly.

Surely the judge over there must be wondering (and seeing as to how he squashes a lot of it....) why she who shall not be named is fighting so hard to keep it under wraps heh?

Judge White definitely knows as she included it in that "limine motion" she filed. Otherwise, it is all being played out in California and Judge White isn't part of that.

JK Rowling has been under fire for other reasons, even from Radcliffe & Watson, who wouldn't be millionaires if it weren't for her. Gossip rag CDAN, if you believe them, wrote that JK did everything she could to keep JD as Grindelwald but, as Newt wrote, Nicol's ridiculous verdict ruled the day.
Grace Randolph of Beyond The Trailer pinned this comment to her 11/6 youtube video on JD's firing:
"Addifional sources say that AT&T approves this decision and actually pushed WB to make this call. JD had already filmed several scenes that will have to be re-shot."
Her video has a couple of factual errors; maybe the part about having filmed several scenes is another one, since other reports stated he'd only filmed one scene.
As for the boycottfantasticbeasts and anti-Mads comments, how do we know JD isn't in favor of these as well as the anti-WB & UK court tweets/SM comments? He was libeled & defamed as a wife beater, unfairly judged, forced to pay the libelers $850K (& has equally high legal costs of his own), was fired from a multi-picture franchise, is probably fired from POTC, and media are calling for him to be blacklisted. As Grace says in her video, no actor of JD's calibre & stature has ever been fired from a film after he'd started shooting. It's outrageous. There was a campaign with petition & milions of people across SM platforms to pressure WB to bring him back (he kept the Grindelwald hair & nails for some reason). If Mads & other actors turned down the role to support their fellow actor, it's possible WB/AT&T would have caved. Mads has plenty of work & offers - he should have said "no." He doesn't have JD's emotional range and JD created this character onscreen. JD has a right to be angry and so do his fans and people outraged by the disgusting way a male victim of domestic violence is being treated. Anyone with a spine would speak out.
I don't know how close Victoria Mary & JD are on a daily basis, but she & Shane were apparently in contact with JD around the time Nicol handed down his "bewildering" & "perverse" decision. This is her tweet after the decision was made public:

JD hasn't so far indicated he agrees with VM. He also hasn't asked anyone not to boycott or spoken out or had associates like Stephen speak up to have mercy on Mads. JD is the one in crisis who needs support.@"

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
JK Rowling was supportive when Johnny showed her his evidence but the reports are that she did not fight Warner Bros. after the UK decision came out. Like it or not, she didn't stand up for him like she did in the beginning.
"But with years gone by and Johnny Depp recently facing a loss in the U.K. courts, Warner Bros. ultimately decided to part way with the frequent Tim Burton collaborator. J.K. Rowling reportedly didn't make a stand when it came to this casting shakeup, despite her writing the script for Fantastic Beasts 3. We'll jut have to wait and see who replaces Depp as the insidious wizard."
