The other thing which I find laughable is apparently (I am not googling, I am avoiding press I cannot bear it) the new WB CEO has a zero policy on controversy. Well good luck with that!

Ezra Miller is still in FB3; and AH is now the definition of controversy - come on do better.

Although on one level WB response is not a surprise, they could have handled this differently. They could have said they'd reviewed the judgement - Johnny has not been found guilty of a crime, he lost round one of a libel case and we, like everyone else, have seen and heard the evidence. We stand by victims of abuse. All victims.

The MSM may have whinged but they would have won a lot of hearts and minds.

I hope at some point JK Rowling comes out and says something - at least that she was sad at the decision and some indication it did not change her belief in his innocence.

To be frank, I don't know how much of a dent the boycott will make in the box office returns as the first film barely had Johnny in it and didn't advertise him. But for sure, a lot of Johnny fans are not coming back. What's cool is that The Independent and other sites are covering the fact that the petition has crossed 150 K signatures. I don't know if there's still time for WB to budge, unlikely, but we need this.

About Ezra, there is nothing to it. The police was never called, the "witnesses" told contradictory stories with holes all over them, Ezra's hand was never on her neck, and the whole thing looks extremely set up (no before or after either) and rehearsed.

So let's not start making comparisons. Johnny should have never been fired. Emmerich is part of the abuse in the JL reshoots, so he's very much the hypocrite. If they don't fire you know who, it'll clearly show the double standards there.

@adele: I honestly don't think Jo, or Yates or anyone high up will be allowed to mention it, or if they do, they'll have a list of talking points to follow or some kind of NDA in place. Wouldn't surprise me if she wasn't even consulted. I can imagine they're devastated and are basically being delivered this and told "deal with it".

About the donations, isn't there a possibility that she will somehow fake any kind of receipts?

Newt:

Faking receipts - IRS - federal crime. To save her fat butt, she will have to produce documents - verified by the charity - (enter Musky boy.)

Amber must have something to hide regarding the donations or else she would have no reason not to hand over the receipts. I think maybe she either lied about how much, if any at all, was given to the charities OR if someone else gave them the money for her.

This make total sense. As does Newt's comment: "Faking receipts - IRS - federal crime." Correct me if I'm mistaken but weren't the charities subpoenaed by JD's legal team for those receipts? But her side opposed? What's next?

Donations: this is my guess, just a guess.

If you remember a big song and dance was made that she had donated it all - in fact she was on a list with I believe the CHLA as promising around $1 million. Maybe she gave maybe she didn't. I think something must have arrived with them otherwise surely something would have come out.

So I think Elon Musk donated "in the name of AH" to possibly the CHLA but most likely to ACLU - as he says he is the largest donor and it then makes total sense why they've allowed a confessed abuser to be an ambassador and why they have completely betrayed their principles over this.

Sorry so what my guess is that various donations have been made on her behalf by Elon: the lady who runs Art of Elysium said she received $250,000 on behalf of AH which she believed was from him.

I am not landing my point I apologise - I think a couple of charities have been given generous but not amounting to $7 million - in her name but not by her.

The charities have been subpoenaed to show their records, and presumably AH will be asked to show her bank transfers/cheques or whatever.

She categorically said that she gave away the $7 million from her divorce settlement - not that $7 million was given in her name. Of course she and the press will then spin it that what does it matter? She caused money to be given.

It will matter if this theory is correct and she has said it in court docs. And more importantly it will do nothing to endear her to the public - pre- the tapes this was the thing people used mostly to defend her.

She surely hasn't had the nerve to get a tax break if she didn't actually give the money away! Surely?

The things that don't add up to me are this: (1) if she had given the money why would she be fighting so hard to keep this out of court - it shows her good character - she wants this (2) I am amazed one of the charities hasn't said anything - confirmed. Thanked her?

Oh and just to update you: over 900,000 people have signed the Aquaman petition.

Hello, I don't know if you know this but Pirates of the Caribbean actor Greg Ellis has spoken out in support of Johnny. I am hoping more people will follow his example.

Thank you for the welcome, Moonbeam. I have been following this thread for a few months now but I decided to register today. Although I like some of his films, I was not a Johnny Depp fan as such and I hadn't paid much attention to his life or career until I heard the tapes. I was shocked and I didn't know what to think. So I read all the court transcripts and watched most of the YouTube videos out there. I now truly believe that Johnny is a kind generous man, a gentleman and clearly the victim.
This thread has been my go-to place for clear and honest information. I was upset with you when the verdict came out and grateful for every morsel of good news so thank you to all of you.

All I can say is, if Schillings wasn’t aware of all these connections (the middle lady in the bottom left pic appears to be “someone” we’ve been seeing in all these recently popping up “connection” photos), then they have been in over their head from the get go. And that doesn’t sound like a place Schillings would ever admit to finding itself. This is all making me a bit ill, very worried ... and strangely, starting to believe in this karma thing everyone keeps talking about.

Hope this is ok to post here.

Have looked all over for this interview that AH gave at The Hague, Netherlands on October 22, 2018, as part of a #METOO promotion. The copy is on some awful/funny show called Darth News ( ?), is peppered with bad language and interruptions by the guy whose show it is, BUT, @ 10:44 it begins the segment where AH says she split the seven million dollars from the divorce and gave half to the ACLU and the other half to the Children’s Hospital of LA. And where she says, “I wanted nothing.”@12:26

Could not find any other version that still includes her live statement about what she did with the seven million dollars. I hope Johnny’s team has a copy, preferably without the “entertainment”!

Video removed per justintime's request.
