I don't believe, there's any truth in what AH says, Newt.Newt wrote:I'm not sure why you would believe there's any truth to the claims meeps? I am worried by this Page Six/Daily Mail article, WB cannot POSSIBLY think that this will affect in any way the sequels. Some of the quotes in there have me baffled, did the people at WB not SEE the recent developments and the change of narrative in the way folks are now turning against Heard and supporting Johnny? To say that they fear the perception of WB associating with him is DISGUSTING, what about associating with Heard, what does that say?
Heard will go to her grave throwing lie after lie and more lies, all day, every day. It is frustrating to have to counter all those volleys knowing that there is incontrovertible proof of Johnny's innocence, the evidence is overwhelming, we might not know Johnny personally but we know of his reputation, of his behavior with fans, with cast and crew. Is it possible he may drink a bit too much sometimes? I guess it is, is it possible he defended himself against her? possible too and I wouldn't have a problem with it.
But this is utter nonsense, the scent of desperation is everywhere, WB better not cave, this has NO impact on the box office, HELLO BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY, anyone? It's clear to me that Jo, Yates standing by Johnny must have had access to the proof or KNOW what happened.
All this nightmare will be over at some point.
Oh my goodness, looking at those "texts" in the Daily Mail article is delightful, supposedly, she calls him Steve in her phone, so the texts are between "Steve" and her, Oh My Goodness, this is laughable, there's no actual proof that it's even him, not to mention that texts can easily be made up. Is she stupid?
I am afraid though of what knee jerk reaction Warner Brother might have, if enough people believe in her lies and threaten to boycott Fantastic Beasts 3. Disney has earned I don't know how much money, because people love Jack Sparrow so dearly - but according to some newspapers, they still dumped Johnny over her accusations.
And now she's piling more on ...
But yes, I might be a worrywort
I do agree with you about Amber Heard probably never backing down.
And also agree with you about the text - to me most of it could be interpreted quite another way than AH and Daily Mail does it. Plus there's no guarantee, they're genuine and/or from or about Johnny.
For people though, who either don't like celebrities in general and/or Johnny especially, the further accusations with those texts added can be used as further 'proof' Not in a court of law, but in the Court of Twitter. (Read; the public opinion) And that might push the money men, who only worry about the bottom line, over the edge and get them to chuck Johnny out of his roles as Grindelwald, because they're afraid of not enough people will want to watch him in the role.
I am sorry for you, my sweet Moonbeam. I wish, we had happier things to talk about
But I am quite willing to discuss the nasty things peacefully
