Thank you. I doubt very much FB2 will have any impact on the date of the hearing though.

What on earth is going on?? AH is solidifying her reputation as a “legitimate DV survivor” supposedly “fighting” for DV victims’ rights. With every week that goes by, a new magazine is giving her yet another platform from which to spew her lies, reinforcing all that she has already put out there. The only rebuttals are those angry but now familiar comments from weary fans.

My question is where is Johnny’s “team”? Mr. Waldman vehemently and repeatedly insisted the SUN “wife beater” lawsuit would vindicate Johnny beyond a shadow of a doubt. This was to have occurred in November! November has long since passed and nothing, nothing, nothing . . .

FB2 is going down in flames (yeah, yeah bloated script - baloney; just a back door to “cleverly” cripple another Johnny film; it’s already being dropped big time from US theaters and will not even be around to reap the benefits of holiday/vacation viewing). You can bet if Richard Says Goodbye and/or City of Lies ever see the light of day in 2019 they will first be thoroughly pummeled by critics and social media (remember, Variety and others already hammered RSG after the ZFF showing, barely waiting for the credits to finish rolling).

Recently - and perhaps most insuffererable - the instant wrath dumped on Johnny’s longtime female friend, Letitia Frye, after the ACCP pic was released. Yes, it can be ignored but it is beyond unbelievable that such an intense level of hate and vitriol has become a norm of sorts where Johnny is concerned.

Again, where is Johnny’s team??

Well said, justintime. I've only seen fans come out to Johnny's defense and, as you said, we are getting weary from the lack of support from Mr. Waldman and company. And for that matter, where the heck is Robin Baum? Shouldn't she be shooting down Amber Heard's lies and repeated insinuations about her fake abuse allegations? The strongest advocate for Johnny that I've become aware of, who's been making her voice known and gathering many supporters, is Elle-Rose AKA Autumn On Venus. Her informative YouTube videos and Twitter posts clearly and accurately stated all the facts about how Amber Heard lied, along with pointing out the court documents that prove how Amber Heard ADMITTED to abusing Johnny. Johnny saw the videos and thanked Elle-Rose for her support.
We, the fans, are speaking up for Johnny the only way we can, via social media. My question also is, where is his team, who supposedly gets paid to do this work?

Well, I don't know... I don't think that much of what they could do would really be of any advantage.
I think the information that he is not guilty is out there and I myself also observed changes in what I see online, it's definitely better since November and I think this is related to the Sun lawsuit.

What would you wish Johnny's team to do? I think nothing can stop her from being the terrible person she is and nothing can stop stupid people on the internet from hating Johnny if they want to. I still think that doing nothing is probably the best thing they can do, and I think Johnny knows that his fans believe in him and that there are still enough of us around.

I think Johnny's team is smart enough to wait for the right time. Oh my ladies and then it will be very bad for A.H. To be honest, I open a bottle of champagne to enjoy this trump. I am optimistic and believe that she will be punished. :namaste:

Yes, the information is out there, but it has long since been buried. The pause provided by Waldman’s statements eventually evaporated. No one kept the pot stirring on Johnny’s behalf and the effort now seems empty and wasted.

What can Johnny’s team do? I don’t know - unite and strategize a bit? Doing nothing has resulted in the unthinkable: the emergence of a very focused, ruthless, hydra-like opponent. Not in a million years would I have believed I’d be hearing that vile bit of humanity speaking as a respected representative of women’s rights and DV survivors in of all places the UN! Never would I have imagined seeing her arrogant face on the cover of popular fitness and fashion magazines in my own dentist’s office and local pharmacy (when was the last time Johnny graced a glossy U.S. cover?)! Her team has worked slowly and unrelentingly with a common goal - to create a positive image and make her relevant in her own right - and they are succeeding. She certainly isn’t fading into the ether as we’d all expected (hoped?). Even top critics have been reduced to pronouncing her Aquaman performance “not bad”; a sequel is already in the works. Not a whisper of the impending lawsuit, that she may have lied - repeatedly; that Johnny may not be the hideous aggressor we’ve been told he is for the past two and a half years . . . Nope. Nothing. AH declares she doesn’t want to talk about Johnny anymore and everyone falls in line. Time to rock the boat.

The following link is to another well-put-together piece skillfully questioning the veracity of one of the few high-profile “witnesses” on AH’s “evidence” list. Just a nest of lying vermin, the lot of them, not an ounce of respect for truth.

There is truth to each point made here. However, amidst the frustration of reading repetitive reports focusing on the lies about Johnny, there rarely seems to be any rally opposing that negativity other than by his fans. Posting comments of objection to negative articles or toward organizations that support AH's soap box activism as being a victim of abuse only goes so far. To be honest, as I recall, I've only seen one online article that retracted their misinformation. In my opinion, as much as Johnny's fan base is solid, the strength behind the voice of his lawyers, more often than not, would speak volumes toward Johnny's innocence. Of course, all this may never change the minds of journalists who value salacious reporting over truth and ethics.

I have to agree that keeping quiet is probably best. Anything Johnny 's team can say just adds fuel to her publicity fire. He is honoring the terms of the divorce agreement. Personally, I am not paying any attention to her.

This is very depressing and sad. I honestly thought that Johnny's lawyer and team still have plenty of evidence. I think we have to wait.
But there is something really positive, in the last pictures , Johnny looks happy, healthy and satisfied.

Her "performance" in Aquaman got bad reviews from the likes of National Review, Chicago Tribune, Hollywood Reporter, Guardian, Irish Independent, and US Weekly.

Don't think any respectable director would cast her in a leading role after seeing this. And let's not forget about London Fields.

Just a couple of thoughts to add, I don't know if they help.

I was also expecting the Sun defamation case to be heard in November because of Adam Waldeman's statement but in fact I think that he just meant that was when it would be lodged at the High Court. So that is still to come. And I think it is going to be very interesting because of her two witnesses - Raquel Pennington and I O Tillet - RP's social media has definitely given the signal that there has been some sort of split; and IOT's deposition has been easily unpicked and shown to be lies. Surely the easiest thing for the Sun would be to have AH, RP and IOT as witnesses in their defence. But somehow I don't think that is going to happen.

Secondly, whilst AH does indeed get herself well and truly out and about as a survivor and spokesperson, the amount of negative comment she attracts is staggering. The National Domestic Violence Hotline's twitter account which tweeted about her Glamour magazine piece was inundated with negative comments, not just from Depp fans but from domestic abuse victims as well. Only two or three people supported her. I know it feels weary but it is great that people do it.

It is just over a year since Johnny did the interview for Rolling Stone with Stephen Rodrick. That interview was set up by Waldman against the advice of Robin Baum. I think we can agree that the article that Rolling Stone published was not what Depp & Waldman intended.
If Waldman and Depp are now wary about trying to put the information out to the public, that is understandable.
The British GQ article was better for describing Depp's situation but it is arguable how much it really helped to change Depp's recent reputation. GQ got angry responses about supporting an abuser and only giving one side. At least the magazine sold well so GQ are probably good with that.

I think that to counter the violent reputation of the past couple of years, Depp will also have to win against Rocky Brooks (the location manager) as well as The Sun. It is the Rocky case that I see people quoting as Depp is violent with the crew. If Rocky drops his complaint, then hopefully Depp will be able to bring a case against Rocky. That might depend on whether Rocky made is claims outside of court filings.

RumLover that is a really good point about the Rocky case.

One other positive thought to share with you - nothing to do with lawsuits, but a simple fact in the commercial world.

Johnny's face is all over central London at the moment. There is a huge picture driving out of London on the West Way and he on the bus stops in all the main shopping streets and busy areas. He's also towering on a big screen at Heathrow. It really cheered me up when the Aquaman posters starting appearing that they were outnumbered by Au Sauvage. It is really cheerful walking through London with Christmas lights and Johnny's face.

In the real world, where businesses need to sell products, his image and reputation sells.
