This is what burns me. The misreporting that his lawyers dumped him. Excuse me, Benjamin Chew his lead attorney from Washington DC left his firm due to conflict of interest in a huge case they were handling and he is NOW WITH BROWN RUDNICK. He is still representing Johnny

Everyone notice of the papers for this case show the stamp of the court of when it was received and filed? There is NOTHING on the complaint that was released to the media from the security guys which means it was not a public document when it was released because it doesn't become public until it is filed and recorded with a case/docket number and that was missing too but I guess that is another thread...

True. I don’t know how to get the case number if it has been filed.
Would be interesting if this was something the attorney was waving around to get a settlement and deadline jumped the gun and uploaded for public consumption.

Well..the person they reported to was the main security for the kids (he was pictured with them many times) and he closed his IG account a week before this complaint was released so yes, I have a feeling there were some "discussions" going on.

Who knows but right now he with the HV's now getting ready to do what he loves and with people that are really good guys. He has good counsel to take care of things and I am sure he will enjoy the next few months.

This is great news on the lawyers - several people said it - we don't know what is going on, but there we go - a perfectly sensible explanation for the change. It felt horrible that he had these big cases and no representation but of course that was no the case.
When things wash out like this it makes me realise that the don't complain don't explain mantra is actually the right one long term.

I don't believe Johnny was ever without counsel. This Notice of Ruling is dated 4/20/18 which is the same date the Substitution of Attorney was filed, according to the LA Case Summary site. The attorney (Benjamin Chew) left the first firm and now he is with this one.

I meant the "dumped by his lawyers" thing. Some people still think he is not represented by anyone right now.
