Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Thank you everyone who pointed out the appeal process to me. This evening brings such sad news, but I understand Warner had little choice. I have to admire Johnny once again, he seems calm but focused on his path. And I agree, he basically lived his whole life off-road, only visiting Hollywood/mains...

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
I don't want to rain the parade, just want to be careful and precise my definition of words. I agree that the fan base is huge and will be even stronger after the verdict. But my definition of "general public" means: your unknown neighbour, the schoolteacher of your kids, the guy who mows your lawn....

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
I can understand and respect your point of view Lbock, it is a tough road to appeal. On an emotional level I feel that he has to do it, but that totally ignores the technicalities of an appeal process I m not familiar with and maybe underestimate. But in conclusion, I think that this outcome is far ...

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Those are good points Someareborn - but in UK libel the defendant has to prove it happened. It seems to general to me that he has made his assumptions. You are right, I mixed it up. Sorry! I disagree on the tape there were crucial things in there: 1. he explains (and she doesn't argue back) that he...

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Sorry to bother you with another post. But, why is Melanie Inglessis a credible witness? Isn't she a paid professional, per "Nichol-Definition" loyal to AH, which would mean "ready to lie"? Doesn't she get the same treatment JD's employees? Spare me the answer, its two measurements... Also, mindblow...

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Okay, I understand why JD's side probably did not want Dr. Kipper+ Debbie Lloyd as witnesses, but I don't know if that is wise. Their testimony would clear up things for me. Same goes for nurse Erin. I know the tapes turned the public opinion around, but they play no role for me in the UK case. Beca...

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Thank you for welcoming me and answering my question, AdeleAgain. Anger prevented me from sleeping much as well. Since I believe in an independent justice system I will not go so far to question the motifs of judge Nichols - yet. I will try to follow his thoughts and conclusions which led him to his...

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Hey,
out of curiosity: why didn't Sherborne made the statement today as he was the "leading lawyer" in the UK case?

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Hey everyone, I just created this account and I'm new to forums, so please forgive me if I do things wrong. I followed the case since February 2020 (reading on twitter) and I'm devastated by todays verdict. I'm partly through with reading the verdict and I have to agree with LBock on it. Its a very ...
