British GQ interview

I am glad to see him speaking out. Unfortunately, we live in a society where a man accused of abuse is automatically guilty of abuse unless he can somehow "prove" it isn't true. Later, sometimes years later, the burden of proof has been put on the accused. And even when not proven guilty of any off...

Re: The Lawsuits Thread

I do not understand how all of this is being dragged through gossip sites and publications? Are there no ethical lawyers involved in this case? None of this should be discussed publicly while the case is pending. :perplexed: Donald Trump Jr has now made it his personal platform . He is tweeting the...

Re: The Lawsuits Thread

I'm sure in past years we discussed whether Johnny owned his own plane and I thought it was decided he did not, but chartered one as and when needed. Also for years Johnny has told interviewers that he has music in his ears while either preparing for a scene or during it, and co stars have also said...

30th anniversary of Withnail and I

A digitally remarsted version was released and shown by the British Film Council in 2007 so probably not.

Re: FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD Updates

Fair enough, but with 5 movies in the works, what are the chances that Yates will be directing all of them? Probably at some point it will be someone else. I have not yet seen Fantastic Beasts, so I can't comment one way or another on his direction. However, I did leave out a key part in my last po...

Re: FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD Updates

:giddy: Sounds like they are more hyped up over the second movie, rather than the first one opening this weekend. As I understand it, there are no books about this series, correct? Unlike HP where everyone had an idea of the plot, characters, etc. Fantastic Beasts is a book but its like an encyclap...

Re: FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD Updates

I haven't seen a single Potter movie. Is Grindelwald a character that's already been established and played by someone else, Oldman perhaps? Or is it a new character that Johnny will be able to establish? He appeared in a flashbacks and was played by Jamie Campbell Bower (young) & Michael Byrne (ol...

Re: FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD Updates

No, I don't think, that just because two people have been in the same movie it necessarily mean, that they are now best friends forever afterwards. The fact that Johnny usually becomes friends with the people working in his movies probably says more about him and his sweet way of being than about t...

Re: FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD Updates

Not sure what Amber being in a film with Eddie Redmayne would have with regard to how Johnny gets on with Eddie Redmayne. The way most films are made actors tend not to spend time with each other off screen and may only see certain actors for the scenes they are in together and often not until they ...
