Agreed, Anna. I rented the movie intending to watch only Johnny's scenes, but I was so intrigued with Charlotte Gainsbourg's performance that I went back to the beginning and watched it all. She is marvelous--wish we saw more of her over here.

I agree with you, that scene is indeed I have the film but it's of course all in French so I can't hardly understand anything. Wish I could find it with subtitles, I'd watch it in its entirety then

For a long time, we couldn't get PRIVATE RESORT on DVD here (it finally got a DVD release 2 years ago, because the studio realized it could sell copies to Johnny Depp fans), but it was aired frequently on the Comedy Channel.
It's interesting that so far, it seems to be mostly the early work that we don't feel compelled to see--NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, PRIVATE RESORT, PLATOON--and of course the cameos.

I've watched NOES and Platoon twice but don't own either

Many people do not like AD, but I loved it to death. I think Axel is an adorable, confused, sexy boy Also, I have always liked Faye Dunaway too.
I saw it several "pieces"-on youtube

Thank you so much Anna, I was trying to search, you beat me to it
Then I have seen both of those! So there are only five that I have not seen, doesn't seem so bad.

Every JD enthusiast must own an all region DVD player, worth every penney!

And they come really cheap as well. For Europeans (sorry US and UK ladies): with the current exchange rate € - $ buying your DVDs in the US is extremely inexpensive.
