NEW WILLY WONKA
Johnny Depp will inject Willy Wonka with his own brand of cheekboned charm this summer when he stars in Tim Burton’s cinematic version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The movie will arrive on our screens on July 15. By happy coincidence, this year will also see the opening of The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre (01494 892192, www.roalddahlmuseum.org; times and prices yet to be confirmed), in the author’s home town of Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire. On June 11, the museum’s doors, shaped and scented like huge chunks of chocolate, will swing back for the first time, promising interactive games for the youngsters and one of the most complete literary archives in the world for the adults.

There's at least 5 of us within about an hour's drive of Great Missenden, so although maybe not to the opening, maybe a good place to visit during the school holidays, and who knows, maybe meet up.

I read a post by someone who's going to be there.she say's she's deffinatly going to be meeting Johnny at the opening,so if anyone lives near enough to it GO!!you might regret it if you don't.

Johnny being at the opening has been posted elsewhere on the board. The general consensus was that it would be difficult for him to be there because of the POTC filming and what better way to attract a crowd than saying he will be there? Watch for publicity on this one before you make any plans
