I would love to see a bit more Wonderland. It was just magical.
My daughter and I would already have a story in mind... about Alice's 12-year-old niece... so Mr. Burton if you read this and would like to make another movie called Forever Alice feel free to write me a PM

I have been enjoying seeing your choices for sequels....I love to see sequels with:

Gilbert Grape, Dean Corso, Ichabod Crane, Gene Watson...and, of course, Captain Jack Sparrow :captainjack:

My top choice is Captain Jack, I want him to get the Black Pearl back and sail off with all the original cast (who has not died) and then be done..Then would love Sands, love, love love him!! There is alot more that I could see Sands doing, even with no eyes!!

Yes and yes!
I would also like to see them both have more sympathetic love interests this time round, and I'd love to see a sequel to 'Alice' - the ending left everything open.

I always thought Gilbert Grape should have gotten a sequel because I always wanted to see what happened to him after the end of the movie.

Good question, very interesting!

I would really love Robert Rodriguez to make the "man with no eyes" trilogy. I remember him talking about that and I like the idea.

So my answer is Sands.

That sounds like a fantastic idea! I love the extras on the El Mariachi series, the first movies where Rodriguez had limited equipment to work with. Brilliant!

Now we know there is an AIW sequel in the works, I am ok with seeing more of the Hatter.
The character I really would love to see more of is Tonto. I loved TLR and I thought Johnny's portrayal of Tonto was fantastic.
But the truth is, in general, I think a really good portrayal needs to stand on its own -- I think there is always a danger of diluting and trivializing a good character by going on and on.

Have you read The Lollipop Shoes (US title The Girl with no Shadow) and Peaches for Monsieur le Cure (US title Peaches for Father Francis)? They are excellent sequels to Chocolat making a lovely trilogy, with lots of Roux especially in Peaches. I would love them to make a sequel, maybe they could make the two books into one film... Yes, I'd like to see a return of Roux! :flashingheart:

Joanne Harris has an interesting website, she says of her trilogy:
"As I was writing The Lollipop Shoes, I realized that I was creating a dangerous precedent. It isn’t always easy for a writer to revisit the characters they have created - time changes all of us, and sometimes it’s easier not to look back. But as I finished the book, I knew that what I’d done was worse than that; I’d written the second instalment of what would be a trilogy. Even now, I’m not convinced that Vianne has entirely finished with me – there may be more about her some day (or indeed, about Anouk and Rosette); we are linked, she and I, in ways that I don’t always fully understand."
