I'm just all choked up after reading that awe inspiring letter from Mercy Corps and all I can say is

What an achievement and just goes to show what people power can do. I got such a warm feeling when Johnny sent us a letter but most of all I'm just so happy that so many Japanese people will benefit from this. So much still to do after the disaster but this will definitely go a long way to helping so many. I can certainly understand the buzz at Mercy Corps after receiving Johnny's donation.

Once again I offer thanks to Part-time Poet and Theresa for making this possible. :heart2:

I hesitated to comment in this thread previously because I didn't feel I really had the right to since I didn't donate, but now here I am again; I can't resist.
It's so amazing and fantastic and magnanimous and precious of Johnny to do that...to acknowledge the Zone in their efforts and indirectly 'reward' them in that way, which also shows his obvious approval of this site. :cloud9:

I truly admire all of you here who engineered the fundraiser and donated to it. I'm beyond honored to be a member here amongst all the warm-hearted, generous, benevolent, caring Depp-fans! :worldhug:

I am so pleased to have been a part of this.
It is wonderful to think that not only is Johnny aware of the birthday project, he took the time out of his busy life to write a thank you and make an additional donation.
Thank you to everyone who organised the birthday project for Japan and donated. So much good will flow from this.

Thank you so much Theresa for sharing that wonderful letter and letting us all know how much Johnny has appreciated efforts in raising funds. It is nice that they have written to you in honour of his donation and I can understand that their office is abuzz with excitement - we are also :worldhug:

Wow! Just wow. Somehow I missed this thread in July; I’m so thankful RonMexico gave it a bump and I spotted it. Following the tears welling up, only one word comes to mind: Honored. I am so honored to be a part of this wonderful community. I am so honored that Johnny has honored us in this way. Seems it’s all come full circle, eh? And none of it is possible without the tireless work of our moderators. So thank you all once again. Wow, just wow.
