Garry Kilworth Q&A #8

Unread postby Liz » Mon Oct 26, 2009 11:05 am

ONBC: Theresa pointed out that the children’s voices were past tense and most of the Atticans present. She suggested that it was because the children’s time doesn’t move in the attic. Garry, you indicated that this was correct when you posted on the forum. Can you expand on this and can you explain why this does not apply to the Boretrekker and Removal Firm. Does it have something to do with their lack of animals?

GK: The board-combers have been so immersed in their surroundings they have become part of the attic itself, whereas the bortrekker and the Removal Firm are still separate entities.
You can't judge a book by its cover.

The only thing that matters is the ending. It's the most important part of the story.
