Thanks for sharing, Buster. We're grateful that you use ONBC as a venue for that, as your answers are always very thoughtful.

The only thing that matters is the ending. It's the most important part of the story.

I'll take the easy path and answer using your descriptions. I sort of fibbed about wearing glasses anyhow. I have prescription sunglasses though for driving.

Analytical - yep
Glass half empty - yep
Open Minded.... Very
Romantic... For sure, also obsessed with reading romance books
Sensitive...Very
Sense of Fairness ....I like to think so.
Type A personality.... Actually I am half A and half B.
Artistic ....Definitely No
Creative.....Sometimes
Hate housework.... Yep
Aging .....yep and the older I get the faster I age.

Love to read, garden, play with my pets, my computer, and my dollhouses and toys.
I'm sort of obesessive about food, diet, environment, politics, censureship, life in general.

Gemini, I'm so glad you shared. :applause2: I hope more will share. I'm sure that there are others who have very fascinating, complex and layered identities, just like you, Buster and fansmom.

I'm not at home right now. I'm in Tahoe in the snow for the weekend, but will be keeping up with ONBC. 20 years ago I would have identified myself as an intermediate - advanced skier. That would be part of how I would have answered this question. Now I'm an old lady with a bad knee who probably won't ski again. But that's OK. I just like being here in the snow. It's so beautiful.

Don't know how comfortable I am about revealing my person in cyberspace. Artistic Jack of all Trades: Dabble in- Drawing (Johnny's image, of course), Playing the Uke. Attracted to most creative expressions. A big Jazz person. Absolutely love the music. Feel as though it is my personal body rhythm. Have done rhythm tap dance in the past. Played around with little theater performance. Play reading. Love food and cooking. Personality--somewhat of a curmudgeon but with a sense of humor. Maybe more negative than positive, but I kid myself and refer to it as being realistic!! Honest to a fault. Also sometimes disciplined to a fault. Somewhat of a non conformist or (wanna be!) Bohemian..Loyal. Also a bit of a loner. At times can be somewhat shy and introverted. VERY sensitive. Dark side--Hard on myself. Some anxieties and depressive moments. Ah, but, definitely romantic and sensual!!

Hey thanks for sharing yourself in cyberspace, deppaura. It's interesting how I see some of myself in all of you--things I forgot to mention. WHO we are can be so complicated, which makes us so :interesting: -- at least to me.

This thread reminds me of the old Monday Night Threads we used to do each week.

I am a Pollyanna to a fault, love to cook, LOVE music and the arts but I am not terribly creative myself. However I am determined to learn to play the piano. I love to be around people and get to know them and find personal stories and history endlessly fascinating. fansmom, I had to laugh at your comment about your purse, that could have been me too.

Yes, didn't we do one that was "list 5 things about yourself" or something like that?

They are in the archives if you are into a little nostalgia.

I just read one where I said it was 96 degrees out. Hard to believe now that there is almost three feet of snow out there. :harhar: I also read that I was taking my daughter to college for the first time--and now I'm planning a trip to New York for her graduation in May!

Wow! My kids did a lot of growing up since I joined the Zone. It goes to show that this little hobby of ours is not just a passing fad, of which I am very thankful.
