DITHOT and I would like to you to ONBC’s discussion of DILLINGER – The Untold Story.
Although the discussion itself doesn’t begin until Monday, July 6, we will start it off by posting a few tidbits on the subject. We will begin the new tidbits tomorrow. But we would like to direct you to some Public Enemies Tidbits from that discussion that are very relevant to this discussion. We posted them prior to our discussion of Public Enemies in February/March 2008. Click on the following links of interest:

The only thing that matters is the ending. It's the most important part of the story.

I didn't even realize what good timing it was until I saw the film today. I feel like I have been to Crown Point and Little Bo from researching them for the tidbits. And the film brought it all to life.
Spoiler! :
And hearing Johnny sing Get Along Little Doggies was more than I could handle.

Thanks, deppaura. I found the part about who was who in the gang (except for Red and Baby Face) to be a bit confusing. I actually giggled when he broke out in that song and then realized I was the only one. But that's okay, I laughed a couple of other times when no one else did. But then my audience was mostly of the male teenage persuasion.

Trying to get caught-up on the tidbits now... Thank you for highlighting the best of the PE tidbits - I had missed most of that the first go-round. It seems the newsreel links in the "In the News" tidbit are expired. Any chance we could get those uploaded again? I'd really LOVE to see those old newsreels!!

Thanks for bringing that to our attention RamblinRebel. I should have checked all the links before I posted it.
And thanks, T, for updating them. It is very much appreciated.
