Beatrix, It’s always helpful to have it finished. But most times we try to ask questions in a chronological order if we can. Thus there is a good chance that you will be able to answer the first 5-10 questions without having finished. You can also come back to the questions at a later date and respond.

The only thing that matters is the ending. It's the most important part of the story.

I received the book in the mail last week and have begun reading. I'm about 4 chapters in and am enjoying it. I'm looking forward to the discussions. :)

I am a little over halfway through. This book is amazing. :-O When I first went looking for this book, one of the staff at my local indie bookstore told me that another staffer had tried to read it, but got fed up halfway through and quit. I can't understand how anyone could find this book boring. :hypnotic: I am really looking forward to the discussion. :disco:

I don't often comment, but I almost always read the book AND the tidbits (tks, liz and dithot!!)... I'm looking forward to 2009's list. I found January's book at a used book sale at my library for $1... so now all I have to do it start reading it... was going to start it last weekend, but instead picked up a book that a friend on Facebook highly recommended ... "Dragonquest," been reading it in fits and starts through the Christmas happenings. Am really enjoying it! Plan to start the Glass Books this weekend!

I'm looking forward to the discussion.
I started reading in September then stopped halfway. :headache:

I'm looking forward to the discussion too, but :psst: I haven't finished reading the book yet so hopefully I'll be done by January 5.

Good work, ladies! I admire your dedication to the task. It is not a short, nor an easy read. :highfive:

I finished reading it last week. I'm afraid of Parallel Worlds. :freaked: I don't know if I can handle that one. Anyway, I'm curious about the Glass Book discussions.

I just got the book yesterday at my library. I am a little daunted by it's length, but I was hooked after I read the first couple of pages on line and wanted to read more.

I always look forward to these discussions, so I hope I can read enough to take part.

Beatrix, I'm a bit daunted by Parallel Worlds myself. I have felt that way about other books we have read and discussed but always found I learned so much and enjoyed the challenge.

radwen, it is a long read but moves pretty quickly. Even if you miss the beginning of the discussion feel free to jump in at any time.
