Birthday Project Final Weekend--donations top $5,000!

Unread post by part-time poet » Fri Jun 05, 2009 11:10 am

Here's some great news to start our weekend . . . total donations to the 2009 Birthday Project for San Jorge Children's Foundation have now passed $5,000!

Wow!
:snoopydances: That's a lot of good wishes :cake: . . . and good deeds! :highfive:

:bouquet: Many thanks to all the wonderful Zoners  who donated this week, and to everyone who has supported the Birthday Project from the beginning. :grouphug: You have hearts of gold.

We are now entering our final weekend; we will be accepting donations through Johnny's birthday, June 9th.

If you would like to make a donation to the Birthday Project, see the announcement at the top of this forum. We'd love to have you join in our birthday gift to Johnny! :worldhug:

I'm so proud of what we've accomplished so far in the Birthday Project.

And still four more days to go!

Wow, I can´t believe it! Wow, that´s so great! :yahoo:
I made another small donation few minutes ago. Isn´t much, be like we can see, if everybody makes a small donation, we´re able to get that much together to help the children! :goodvibes:

Kitty, you've made me cry ...

I'll be making another small donation before the end of the day on Johnny's birthday. That seems so right to me. It all goes for the kiddies :cloud9: and that's just so great.

I made a donation at the beginning of this project, and Joni gave me the idea to give a gift actually on Johnny's birthday. Thanks, Joni--great idea!

Just by chance, I have his birthday off from work. My friends keep kidding me that I'm taking that day off BECAUSE it is his birthday. Not so, but I don't mind the kidding!

I will be donating again on Johnny's birthday also.... a lovely idea indeed. Your friends sound like they're teasing depps pearl, but no one better than Johnny that I would want to be teased about! :cloud9:

This is such an impressive amount and is going to do so much for those children, their families and the workers at the hospital. Thank you PtP for the information and well done to everyone, this casts light on what is too often a dark world that we live in. :heart2:
