M Train Tidbits to begin Monday, January 18

Unread postby Liz » Mon Jan 11, 2016 4:49 pm

Happy New Year, Noodlemantras!

We apologize for the holdup, but we will have to delay the start of M Train tidbits until next Monday, January 18.

We look forward to seeing you then.

:winterwave2:

Sounds good. I'm almost done with the book.
I've been enjoying her travels and musings, while guessing which ones will be tidbit material.

Sort of like watching a Hitchcock movie and spotting the cameo.

I looked to buy the book before Christmas but they had whacked the price up.

The tidbits should be beyond amazing, there is so much to explore in what Ms Smith wrote in the book.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, nebraska. I hope that we can deliver.

Marija, how nice of you to offer your book to GG. Hope you can read it and join the discussion, GG. We've missed you.

You are indeed right about that nebraska. A surfeit of tidbits, tidbits waving their hands at us asking to be picked, and every single one we took on board was full of treasure. A delightful book.

Same here, so I put off buying it. Now amazon Canada has lowered the price of the paperback down to just under $13, so I bought it yesterday. With shipping it came to $20.

I won't get the book in time to read it before tidbits start, so I'm wondering if I should read the tidbits anyway, or wait until after I've read the book. :perplexed2:

I think it would work just as well to read the tidbits before the book or even during the book. During the book probably would work especially well because the tidbits are organized in chronological order -- when the topic appears in the book. Tidbits absolutely fit this book to perfection. It's as though the two were born to be together. :smiliewithhearts:

The whole book is a giant tidbit, with each chapter it's own mini tidbit.

Don't worry about spoilers.

So glad you read the book -- any chance you get to weigh in would be wonderful! :bouquet:
