On Pg. 39, why is Reynaud a blank to Vianne?

Because she genuinely doesn’t understand his motivation in doing and thinking as he does. She sees nothing to relate to in him (although this is another of Vianne’s blind spots, because actually they have a lot in common).
You can't judge a book by its cover.

The only thing that matters is the ending. It's the most important part of the story.

They do have alot in common....They are both passionate people,both with a streak of pig-headedness..They are like different sides of the same coin.. :cool:
