Hmm... Interesting, verrry interesting! Well I'll have a go, but I'm one of those annoyingly indecisive types...

Okay, here goes.

Fave roles (I think... :perplexed:  ):

1. Captain Jack Sparrow (very sexy)
2. Sheldon Jeffrey Sands (very sexy AND bad)
3. Sam (cute)
4. Ed Wood (mental)
5. Willy Wonka (excellently bizarre)

Only five? Can't I add Mort as well? Oh! And Ichabod! Oh dear I'd better just submit it before I go AWOL with distraction...
* So...directly from the beautiful lips of Johnny Depp - THANK YOU VERY MUCH, Johnny Depp Zone! *

Nice pics, dharma_bum! He does look shimmery these days...

Amaranth, welcome to ONBC! :welcome: Wilmot's poetry definitely counts!

nickidepphead, I never could narrow my choices down to 5 either!

Only 5 ?? !! This was the only category I could narrow down for now so .........

Favorite Roles:

Captain Jack (the eyes, the danglies... :thud: )
J.M. Barrie (just an outstanding performance)
Roux (loved the "leading man role")
Gilbert (such a sensitive character)
Edward Scissorhands (again, very sensitive character)

Continuing to ponder the rest ...........
~ Yah, I wanna take that ride with you!

I'd rather have a moment of wonderful, than a lifetime of nothing special. April 7, 2008

Lucky13, I didn't realize how hard narrowing it down to 5 would be. I'm finally getting around to listing my favorite looks here(not in any particular order):

You can't judge a book by its cover.

The only thing that matters is the ending. It's the most important part of the story.

I had a quotes list started and I lost it. :bawl: I have really enjoyed reading everyone's responses.

My two top are "Bummer, Ted" which I use on a regular basis (I suppose it confuses people) and "Mumbler!" and then there is "Savy?" I guess that is 3.

nebraska, I have a list of quotes so long I can't even begin to pare it down but one of my favorites is Bummer, Ted too. Funny story…hubby and I are driving home one evening and our neighbor down the street is inspecting his mailbox which has met an unfortunate end having been run over by a wayward car. As we round the bend and see him staring at said mailbox, I say, “Bummer, Ted.”
Hubby says…”I didn’t know you knew him.”
“Who?” I say.
“The neighbor,” says hubby.
“I don’t,” says me. He says,
“But you called him Ted.”

Then I have to explain the Mortism followed by eyerolling…

How funny is that story!!!!! :rotflmao: :biglaugh: :rotflmao: Mr DITHOT should be catching on to you by now!

Liz, fabulous photos you posted. I know I said I have one favorite look, but I have to admit I am a goner for the so-called "wife beater" look, for lack of better terminology. :-? The one where he is looking down makes me come undone!! I have it posted near my computer -- with a Mort collage and two Jack Sparrow pics.

This was early in the game, before he was really aware of where my Johnnyisms were coming from!

...........Although I could easily go with Johnnybloom's list of favorite photos and be quite happy...... :chill:

The edge … there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over. HST

OK, it's still officially Sunday night here, although it may be Monday where YOU are! :capnjack:

Favorite Johnny Accessories:
1) The Ganesh
2) The Boots
3) The fancy lacy like part of his mom's tattoo over his heart that sticks out from his shirt.
4) The skull, black beads, skull dangly on his pants.
5) The hand colored t-shirt around his wrist.

:disco: Whew, I feel like a weight has been lifted. This is my favorite secret ! I just love those accessories!

I'm only a week late here............but whose counting, eh? I read everybody's post and got thoroughly confused. There are too many things to get into a limit of 5 posts per category. But then again, these are just GUIDELINES, right? Thank you for the pictures that were posted on this thread.................I think the way he looks right now is the best he has ever looked. If that man cuts his hair I will :bawl:

Favorite Books:
1. Shantaram is my all time favorite. Read that one twice.
2. On the Road. Read that one twice too.
3. Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Climates.
4. The Libertine.
5. Good Omens.

Favorite Roles:
1. CJS (but of course)
2. Fred Abberline. (ohhhhhhhhhhh yeahhhhhhhhhhh)
3. Sam (sweet sweet Sam)
4. Roux......... oooo la la.
5. John Wilmot. (I couldn't get over the range of his acting in this one.)

Wait........... no, I'll behave unlike some we know here.

Favorite Lines:
1. Oh good, no worries then.
2. Bummer Ted. (I use this one and get ???? looks too DITHOT)
3. I think there's a leak.
4. Pirate ! (Fits in so many conversations it's scary)
5. I'll come around sometime and get that squeek out of your door (along with him staring at her backside as she walks away.. :thud: .............what a look)

Favorite Accessories:
1. THE HAIR THE HAIR THE HAIR THE HAIR.
2. Silver cuff.........(ok, all bracelets)
3. Belt worn off center.
4. Necklaces.
5. Bandanas.

Favorite Look:
1. Inside Actors Studio.
2. Teen Choice Awards.
3. Redondo Beach look...........just flat out gorgeous.
4. Oprah (So shy)
5. Roux.

I am shocked............ I followed a rule. I stuck to 5 per category. Something is wrong here. I need to loosen up like DITHOT!!!
