ONBC anniversary contest

Unread postby fansmom » Tue Dec 06, 2005 1:35 pm

I'd like to advise everyone to read every book the ONBC suggests, and to participate in the discussions throughout the year, because the ONBC contest prizes are wonderful! Last year I won a personalized, handmade decoupage trinket box with pictures of Johnny on the inside and outside. (The only trinket within it is a note from my husband to remind me that he loves me more than Johnny does. Silly man, of course I know that.)

This year's prizes just arrived, and they are also handmade and personalized. Liz and DITHOT made bookmarks and a 2006 wall calendar with gorgeous (of course) pictures and quotes. It is so beautiful that I am reluctant to write prosaic dentist and hair appointments on it.

Thank you, Liz and DITHOT, for all you do. :applause:

You are welcome, Fansmom. :highfive: Doesn't DITHOT do a nice job on those calendars?

For the rest of you, your prizes are in the mail.

Wow! What a ride!

I have also received my prize, two bookplates which are already in their proper books and a set of Jack Sparrow beads with a wonderful coin, suitable for wearing on belt loop or rear view mirror. Thanks for these wonderful gifts!

Fansmom, enjoy that calendar. I was lucky enough to win one last year and I loved it every single month. Congratulations!
