In this review of the 20th anniversary release of Withnail and I, it says ''It's probably no coincidence that Robinson's next film will be an adaptation of Thompson's The Rum Diary, with Johnny Depp once again playing the late king of Gonzo journalism''..I know it's not anything new,but it's nice to read anything about this project.. :-O http://living.scotsman.com/film.cfm?id=1446092006

Thanks for finding and posting that, gilly! I love Withnail and I and am really looking forward to The Rum Diary with Johnny and Bruce Robinson working together.

It's always good to hear some confirmation that this film is on the schedule! Thanks, gilly! :bounce:

You can't judge a book by its cover.

The only thing that matters is the ending. It's the most important part of the story.
