It's listed on Turner Classic Movie's website as being aired on Tuesday, April 25 at 4:45 p.m. It's the 1948 Jimmy Cagney/Broderick Crawford version.

I have this version and I love it.
Be forewarned though that this is the one where the ending is changed. Still worth catching! Thanks for the heads up, fansmom!

I have seen both versions and while the ending of the second one is true to the play, I think the characters in the first one capture the time and place much better. The seem more Saroyanesque to me.
