I, Fatty Question #18 - Johnny Living in the 20's

Unread postby Liz » Fri Jul 22, 2005 3:20 am

From the E True Hollywood Story: Johnny Depp, which premiered 11/23/03:

Narrator: By 1994, 31-year-old Johhny Depp endured controversy, heartache and tragedy, all under the media’s white-hot glare. Johnny was disillusioned and contemplated saying au revoir to Hollywood.

Johnny: If I could have it my way, I'd probably live in Paris in about 1920.

I also have a memory of him saying something similar in a magazine article in the past year, but I don’t think it was specifically in Paris. I could be wrong, though, since I haven’t been able to put my hands on that interview.

Why do you think Johnny would have preferred to live in the 20’s?
You can't judge a book by its cover.

The only thing that matters is the ending. It's the most important part of the story.
