Small Shantaram mention

Unread postby gilly » Thu Dec 14, 2006 6:18 am

''He [Eric Roth]'s working on Hatfields and Mccoys and Shantaram..''I think they'll both see the light of day''..The Depp drama is awaiting a new director...but is still hoped for a first half of 07 production.''...I'm not sure that sounds all that promising..I thought he'd finished working on it and it's strange they haven't come up with a director yet..It's such a high-profile production, one would think..http://www.dailynews.com/celebrities/ci_4826472
Life is beautiful.

I have faith in you.

Oh, gilly, Shantaram is driving me to despair. So many little mentions and so little real progress. First half 07 seems very optomistic.
Work hard, learn well, and make peace with the fact that you'll never be as cool as Johnny Depp. GQ.

I doubt very much its heading for a first half of 2007 production, we would have heard more definate news. Gilly I raised the question in the porch about Shataram earlier this week

Thanks for the little snippet, Gilly. I so wish that they would get the ball rolling on this project.
You can't judge a book by its cover.

The only thing that matters is the ending. It's the most important part of the story.

:banghead:
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming -
Wow! What a ride!

Me, too. I will be so disappointed if this project falls through. I am really looking fdorward to seeing Johnny in this role.
"Oh, good!........ No worries, then."
