Oh, DepplySmitten, that pup is the cutest! Now I really want to get a dog. I've gone without a pet for too long.

That guy with my pup here is pretty adorable, too. :thud:

Thanks for the cleaned up pic.

Congratulations on young Wilmot, DepplySmitten! He's a cutie pie. :cloud9:
You can't judge a book by its cover.

The only thing that matters is the ending. It's the most important part of the story.

Thank you everyone for sharing these lovely stories and adorable pics of adorable dogs (and gorgeous man!!).

Can anyone read what the writing says on the loveable pic. of Johnny with the puppy? It's quite tiny on my screen and my eyes aren't what they were!!
"Easy on the goods darlin!"
"Tis not an easy thing to be entirely happy, but to be kind is very easy, and that is the greatest measure of happiness"-John Wilmot, Earl of Rochester

*Special thanks to es for help with my lovely avatar*

As the owner of two puggies I resemble that remark :-)
Mine could NOT be more beautiful...

Now that I'be read all this, I feel very upset with myself. I haven't looked at any of these tidbits before and I can't really say why, except that I have very little time and have to make little rules for myself. Now I feel I have lost out!

Thankyou for beautiful doggy pics and beautiful pics of a beautiful man! If future I shall read tidbits!

I've been lurking, but saw the puggie reference and had to chime in.;)

Pugs may not be everyone's cup of tea, but they do have the most expressive big dark brown eyes...reminds me of someone we all know and love.;)

This is Johnny The Pug:
