Not only have I watched it countless times (I voted) but I also loved El Mariachi (the film that started it all) and Desperado as well as OUATIM. All by my favorite director Robert Rodriguez.

 To be honest, this is one of the maybe 4 movies of Johnny's I have not seen yet. I have to see if I own it..I own a few that I have not gotten to yet..SH, NG and TMWC. I also have not seen ADream yet. Please delete this if it is contra-indicated. I literally cannot keep up with him..can we count 50 viewings of B & J and SW as a replacement...hmm..probaby not?

I've seen OUATIM about 10 times and love both it and the music, I have the soundtrack on in the car a lot too. (Debbie, you really need to see it, you'll love it, and TMWC. I highly recommend it!) H.

 I'm glad you clarified the 'partial viewing' question PTP as that was the first thought that crossed my mind. My vote is registered. This'll be interesting.

LOL!! I chose too many to count. I can pretty much quote Sands' dialogue in the movie I'll even watch it when it comes on tv despite the butcher job they do on it.

I admit it. It's "sugar butt" level for me! I have a lot of dreams when it comes to Sands.  One of them is to edit all of his scenes together into my own custom "mini" movie, but I'm not yet video savvy and have other Sands dreams I'm working to realize. I have my title though. It sparked with the idea.  Endora (though she doesn't know about this yet) is entirely responsible. In a previous OUATIM thread, months ago, someone wondered just how much time Agent Sands has in the film. As I recall, Endora replied, "About 44 minutes." This captivated me. "About" makes it seem to be just an, oh so casual, approximation of the time. But the precision of the "44 minutes" betrays an attention to detail that Sands himself, I think, would admire.  Quoting Endora, I will call it "44 Minutes With Agent Sands".(If anybody else beats me to completion, don't forget to include the parts where El and Ramirez answer him on the phone, and the part where Cucuy says "I don't work for Sands anymore".)

I have no idea how many times I have seen this film. I do know that Agent Sands blew me away so much that it is the first film I ever bought back to back tickets for....twice. Johnny did such a supurb job of making Sands despicable and yet heartbreaking and lovable at the same time. And all the while with a fantastic sense of humor and wit.

To many times to count. The first time I watched it, I had no idea JD was even in it.  ( didn't really keep up with JD back then, like I do now, but was still a big fan I just wanted to see the movie. Watched it with DH. My fav scene is in the restaurant when he is talking about his dinner and how much he loves it. Loves it so much that he will pay the check and then go and shoot the cook.  *poor cook*Maybe I am now in need of a *Sands Fix*, I can watch it tomorrow

Does "lots" qualify as an answer. I will always stop and watch when it is on cable. Even if it is one more than once a day...I have the DVD and probably watched a dozen times. I love the brew of actors they have in this...Micky Roarke, Defoe, Bandares, everyone was great ! And the lovely Eva Mendez...the filming must have been so much fun !! Johnny always looks happy in the pics from the set...how could they not have fun !! It comes out in the movie, a delicous lick of self mockery...Anyways. I love this movie...and watch it many times.

You haven't seen Sleepy Hollow or Ninth Gate?? You absolutely must drop whatever you are doing and watch these movies...You will not be sorry ... ¥ou will be floating  TMWC is a bit sad...

I really enjoyed & loved this film.
I'm at Sugarbutt level. I love the scenes with the kid. Agent Sands asking him why does he want bubblegum. And then gives him ten dollars & says it should hold us both over for a long time. Every scene with the kid was a trip. "Have you seen one of these?" (saying Agent Sands) Johnny is too much. I loved Agent Sands.
Also, I loved the t-shirt.
Every time I hear Johnny say Sugarbutts, I'd giggle.
Kitty, the restaurant scene was really good too.

How did I miss this poll? I think I under-estimated my vote, but I have difficulties adding up parts of movies.  I avoided this movie for ages, but have been making up for it ever since. There are somany great scenes (I even watch the ones without Agent Sands) and great lines and Agent Sands. It must be time to watch OUATIM again. Must remember where I safely filed it the last time I watched it.
