I have to say that when I read about the process of extracting the roe, it was so brutal that I decided it wouldn't fit in a Charlie-like analysis of the joys of cavair and I didn't include it. So it is with all our mechanized attempts to take from the natural realm. Don't think I could be a vegetarian full on but..well, it's more than complicated how we humans have expanded our preferences and desires into the arena of our brother and sister living beings.

I'm not much on caviar, but I found this to be a very interesting tidbit regardless. The whole idea is fascinating to me.

Give me egg and mayonnaise over caviar any day.

Ok. That sounds good to put the egg and mayonnaise over the caviar. :)
