:applause2: Sounds like a good read.

I was checking around for availability and it could be tough to find here.
There doesn't appear to be an ebook available, I only found one library copy (searching many libraries), and the prices range online from $10-$45 :-O

If anyone finds a good deal, please share.

Also, I noticed what looked like several different versions/translations. Is there a particular one you recommend?

:hatsoff:

Abebooks has quite a few used copies that aren't too expensive, even with shipping.

There are also used copies at Amazon.

I've had good experiences with the majority of vendors. I recommend selecting a book listed in "good" or "like new" quality.

PS Version question. I haven't read the book yet, but the Penguin Classics version sounds like a good bet. It was published in 2009.

Most of the same vendors that sell used on Amazon are also on Abebooks and Alibris. I look for the 5-star vendors, and whenever possible, I look for hardbound versions. They hold up a lot better and look much newer than most of the paperbacks. But I've gotten both hardbound and paperbacks from there that look practically brand new...and only for a couple of dollars.

Wow. I've read that book in ninth grade. That is 15 years ago. Enjoy reading and discussing it. :ok:

Hi Conni. :welcome: to ONBC! Hope you join us to discuss the book. :hope:

I really don't think it will be difficult to locate the book. You can get the paperback (new, not used) for $10 on Amazon. I ordered mine on Sunday and got it today:

And also in the UK:

I've read it in German and would surely have to read it again. I'll think about it. But I always like following your discussing on the books.

Count me in, too - I don't have the book yet, but I definitely am looking forward to the discussion.
And marija, don't worry about your English - the more the merrier!

:loveshower: I'm psyched! I just found the book at my local library! :yahoo:

Seems no one has checked it out since 1999. I wonder how long it took them to remove the dust.

Has anyone else started the book yet?

I got a used copy from AbeBooks for a very reasonable price...it's sitting on the top of the pile of to-be-read books!
