Today we begin posting our Q&A with Jim Pierson. Thanks, Jim, for taking the time out to answer our questions.

ONBC: Could you tell us a little bit about yourself? I understand you are a writer, producer and director. Can you give us a little bit more detail on this?

Jim: I have a background in television and music production. Most of my current endeavors involve producing music specials and documentaries for PBS and I’m lucky to work with a lot of legendary performers from Aretha Franklin to Doris Day. I’ve always loved popular music, from country to rock, folk to soul. I was a dee-jay in college, playing everything from jazz to big band to classical.

As you can see, here, he's produced numerous music documentaries:

You can't judge a book by its cover.

The only thing that matters is the ending. It's the most important part of the story.
