Kathryn Leigh Scott Q&A #9

Unread postby Liz » Sat May 19, 2012 1:16 pm

ONBC: When Jonathan Frid was at Pinewood, he was impatient to "get the job done." Was this his usual attitude in the early days of Dark Shadows or was this just because he was jet lagged and tired?

Kathryn: Jonathan was tired and in frail health at Pinewood, but “getting the job done” was part of his very solid professional work ethic. He was always entirely immersed in the work when he was at the studio doing Dark Shadows. It was his nature.
You can't judge a book by its cover.

The only thing that matters is the ending. It's the most important part of the story.

Plus given the tight schedule on recording the soap, I'm sure the hours of waiting around a film studio would have driven him nuts - especially given his poor health.
I have nothing to do and all day to do it in.
