Kathryn Leigh Scott Q&A #2

Unread postby Liz » Sat May 12, 2012 1:42 pm

ONBC: If you had been in school when Dark Shadows was first on TV, would you have hurried home to watch it? Or were vampires something that would not have interested you?

Kathryn: I would have hurried home to watch the romance and fantasy elements, and then I would have been pulled into the horror! Truthfully, I thought about this a while back and realized I rarely watched daytime TV because I was always involved in an after-school project, invariably a play. I missed out on a whole era of American Bandstand!
You can't judge a book by its cover.

The only thing that matters is the ending. It's the most important part of the story.

Thank goodness I had no life. I would've missed American Bandstand AND Dark Shadows! :yikes:

But I'm glad she went to play practice. It really paid off for her. And us.

As a kid, I didn't watch a lot of daytime TV either...oh wait...Dark Shadows, ABC Afterschool Specials, Gilligan's Island, Bewitched, I Love Lucy....

Okay, so maybe I did.

The only one I remember watching after school was DS. However, I watched The Young and the Restless and All My Children during the summers plus The Dick Cavett Show and Merv Griffin.

I never watched it, but I can sure see now how much fun I missed! I can understand how addictive it must have been.
