I would think that both stars would be pictured together off set or signing or something.

When the Navajo came out and met with Johnny they certainly also met Armie Hammer and were photographed with him. They also gave gifts to him and to Gore Verbinski. Seems there are alot more pics of Armie filming than there are of Johnny. But I think Johnny is the main draw.

:ok:
I Googled around and just couldn't find anything except the Johnny news (which is fine). But I'm glad Armie is getting some attention for being in the movie, too.
I'm looking forward to seeing pics of the two of them together. I know there is huge height difference, so it will be interesting.

Yes. 1.94 m???? :yikes: Oh Johnny stands beside him all the time through the movie and premiers?... Johnny 's height is good for his weight. I don't like to hear those kind of things from the others :-/

I don't think Johnny has any problem at all, with his height. Once, when he posed for a pic with us, he playfully jumped up on a plank, behind us, and said "So I'll look taller!" Remember when he posed next to that director of The Tourist? That guy must have been about a foot taller! it was so cute, he looked like a little kid, standing next to him. That's sort of how he will look next to Armie.

So Aug. 20th they will start filming in Angel Fire, New Mexico. We will have some more beautiful scenery to look at (besides Johnny of course.)

Local reports of Johnny in Santa Fe and Taos yesterday... dining out. He is reportedly staying at a private residence in town.

From Aug. 20 to the 30th, anglers may experience restricted access to Cimarron Canyon State Park between the Perryville Fishing Access and the eastern boundary of the park. Crews filming “The Lone Ranger” will be shooting a scene on U.S. 64 between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. those days.

Extras sought for ‘The Lone Ranger’ filming near Angel Fire

Staff report
Published:Wednesday, August 15, 2012 2:34 PM MDT

Parts of the Hollywood movie “The Lone Ranger” starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer reportedly will be filmed in the Angel Fire/Taos area within the next few days, and Extras Casting Director Elizabeth Gabel is looking for talent.

Gabel, of EG Productions in Albuquerque, said filming is scheduled to begin about Monday (Aug. 20) in the Angel Fire/Taos area.

“We don’t have a certain date, but it’s in that time-frame,” she said.

New Mexico Film Office Director Nick Maniatis would not confirm that, but he said filming of the production would take place in New Mexico for the next two weeks.

“For security and other reasons, I can’t tell you where they’re going to be shooting other than they’ll be shooting around the state,” he said.

Gabel said she is looking for men, women and children between about 9 and 70 years old to appear as extras.

“I’ll probably need between 20 and 25 (extras),” she said.

Anyone interested is asked to send a recent photo, with no hats or sunglasses, along with sizes to Gabel at elizabeth@egcasting.com.

Gabel needs to know the height and weight of everyone interested in being an extra. Men are asked to include their neck, sleeve, waist, hat and shoe sizes, and women should provide their bra, waist, hips and shoe sizes.

In the last five years, Gabel has done casting work for many Hollywood films including “No Country for Old Men,” “3:10 to Yuma,” “North Country,” “Appaloosa,” “Terminator Salvation,” “The Men Who Stare at Goats,” and “The Book of Eli,” according to her website.

Depp has been cast as Tonto and Hammer as the Lone Ranger in “The Lone Ranger,” which is schedule to be released July 3, 2013 in the United States, according to the Internet Movie Database.
