WOW. Just ... beautiful! Sounds like an amazing exhibit. I would have loved to see even half of those features, nevermind the scroll. But I'm SO glad ya'll were able to see that, and experience it together. Thanks so much for posting this account and the pictures!

However, I will be doing a brief story about this as part of our Beat Tour. So keep a sharp eye, Noodlemantra's. [/b] I missed this Monday Night thread, and I have so much to say about the Beats, but I can't wait to read your Beat Tour!! It's great to hear that ya'll were able to go, and to ...

I love Dame Judi as well, Liz, and Mrs. Henderson Presents was another one on my list to see

I'm a Wallace and Gromit fan, but never saw the movie - and I couldn't root against Johnny and Tim no matter how hard I tried, anyway

I went in expecting it to be a decent film, and thought it would move me - even though I didn't want it to. (I saw it on that fateful January 13th, after all :banghead: ) but I was willing to like it. Just didn't grab me and I thought the reviews and talk about it was overhyped. But I'm glad other ...

I've gotta say, I wasn't really a fan of Brokeback. Not for political reasons, mind you ;-) - but I just didn't feel anything with it, it didn't capture me like I thought it was trying to. Don't worry, Kittycat  I know how you feel -- but whenever I get annoyed at how Johnny hasn't won...

Cool, Cait! Have fun in Orlando :capnjack: - wish I was there right now! I don't really plan on watching them, but I may end up doing that Sunday anyway. I like the fashion, I'll admit it. And I'm just too dang curious not to, so  Admittedly, I didn't see many of the films ...

Thanks, Neophyte! I can't wait to read that article, and the Ginger Man itself -- but I just wanted to say, that Hunter was apparently a HUGE fan of the Ginger Man back in the days when it first came out. I wasn't surprised at all to hear Johnny wanted to do the movie. ;-)

I don't think there was any other proper way to celebrate the evening that night, seven months ago  Good to see you all here again, sharing similar thoughts about Hunter. Thanks everyone! Very well said, everyone -- I can only echo and nod in agreement to all the things ya'll have stated so perfectly. I've been sort of baffled by how emotional I get when I think about Hunter, too, these past few months. It occurred to me, that I've never had any one person that was very close to me w...
